The Bid Opening was declared open at 2 : 00 P . M . by Supervisor Mary Oltz and the following
Notice to Bidders was read :
"INVITATION TO BID
The Town of Danby , the Owner, invites separate sealed bids for :
General Construction
Heating and Ventilating
Electrical
Plumbing
work in connection with construction of Danby Town Hall Addition and Renovations . Sealed
bids will be received no later than 2 : 00 P . M . on Monday, 28 July 1997 at the Town of Danby
Clerk ' s Office, Danby School Building , 54A Gunderman Road , Ithaca, NY at which time and
place all bids will be opened and publicly read aloud . Separate proposals are invited for each of
the above Prime Contracts .

Copies of the documents may be obtained at the office of the Architect and at the Town Clerk ' s
Office, in accordance with Section 00100 , Instructions to Bidders upon deposit of $40 . 00 per set .
As bid security, each proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond made out
to the Owner, in accordance with the amounts and terms described in Section 00100 , Instructions
to Bidders .
The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities in, or to reject, any and all bids . No
bidder may withdraw his proposal within 45 days after the actual date of the opening thereof
