PLANNING BOARD MEETING
MARCH 27, 1996
Special Working Session

The Board was presented with materials for consideration of revising the Subdivision Regulations
of the Town of Danby.
The draft of suggested revisions to the Subdivision Regulations of the Town of Danby were
reviewed and discussed.
The subdivision of lots of less than five acres (more than one within 3- 5 years) was discussed. It
was suggested that the Code Enforcement Officer be allowed to issue a Special Permit for a fee to
cover office time and site plan review by the Town. This would eliminate the need for public
hearing to grant subdivision approval for the subdivision of one lot. Five (5) acre lots would be
totally exempt. Three splits in three (3) consecutive years would be by permit.
Working Session of Planning Board Scheduled
A working session of the Planning Board was scheduled for Wednesday, April 24, 1996 at 7 :30
P.M. for further review of the proposed subdivision revisions .

The meeting adjourned at 9 : 15 P.M.
