Supervisor Oltz called the Meeting to order at 5 : 15 P . M .
Approval of June 14 , 1993 Town Board Minutes
A motion was made by Councilperson Marisa and seconded by
Councilperson Bile to approve the June 14 , 1993 Town Board Minutes
as published .
A roll call vote on the motion resulted as follows :

P lanning Board Vacancy
S upervisor Oltz reported that the term of William Kelley on the
P lanning Board expired on June 30 , 1993 and a person needs to be
appointed to fill the vacancy .
RESOLUTION NO . 31 OF 1993
APPOINTMENT TO PLANNING BOARD
B y Councilperson Oltz : Seconded by Councilperson Marisa
WHEREAS , as of June 30 , 1993 a vacency exists on the the Town of
D anby Planning Board , and
WHEREAS , Donald Schaaf of 2152 Danby Road , Willseyville , New York
h as applied to the Town Supervisor and the Planning Board Chair to
fill the vacancy on the Planning Board , now be it
RESOLVED , that the Town of Danby Town Board appoint Donald Schaaf
of 2152 Danby Road , Willseyville , New York to serve on the Town of
D anby Planning Board , and be it further
RESOLVED , that the term of appointment is for a seven ( 7 ) year term
t o begin immediately and expires on June 30 , 2000 .
A roll call vote on the resolution resulted as follows :

Board of Zoning Appeals Vacancy
Supervisor Oltz reported that the term of Elizabeth Owens - Roe on
t he Board of Zoning Appeals expired on June 30 ,

RESOLUTION NO . 32 OF 1993
Appointment to Board of Zoning Appeals
B y Councilperson Marisa : Seconded by Councilperson Hile
WHEREAS , as of June 30 , 1993 a vacancy exists on the Board of
Zoning Appeals , and
WHEREAS , Elizabeth Owens - Roe of 1820 Danby Road , Ithaca , New York
h as expressed an interest to continue to serve on the Board of
Zoning Appeals , now be it
RESOLVED , that the Town of Danby Town Board appoint Elizabeth
O wens - Roe of 1820 Danby Road to the Board of Zoning Appeals for a
five ( 5 ) year term , and be it further
RESOLVED , that the term of appointment begins immediately and
expires on June 30 , 1998 .

Dog Enumeration
Supervisor Oltz reported that The Town Clerk needs Town Board
approval to appoint a person to perform a dog enumeration in the
Town .
Approval for Dog Enumeration
A motion was made by Supervisor Oltz and seconded by Councilperson
Marisa that the Town Board authorize the Town Clerk to appoint a
person to perform a dog enumeration in the Town of Danby and to
approve a fee for service of one dollar ( $ 1 . 00 ) per dog and mileage
reimbursement of twenty - five cents ( $ . 25 ) per mile .

APPROVAL OF WARRANTS
Approval of Hi • hwa Warrant ; 7 of 1993
A motion was made by Councilperson Marisa and seconded by
Councilperson Hile to approve Highway Warrant # 7 of 1993 , voucher
numbers 81 - 94 , in the amount of $ 14 , 174 . 72 .
A roll call vote on the motion resulted as follows :

Approval of West Danby Water District Warrant # 7 of 1993
A motion was made by Councilperson Hile and seconded by
Councilperson Marisa to approve West Danby Water District Warrant
# 7 of 1993 , voucher numbers 27 - 32 , in the amount of $ 391 . 45 .

Approval of CHIPS Warrant # 1 of 1993
A motion was made by Councilperson Marisa and seconded by
Councilperson Hite to approve CHIPS Warrant # 1 of 1993 , voucher
numbers 1 - 3 , in the amount of $ 3 , 721 . 79 .
A roll call vote on the motion resulted as follows :

Approval of General Fund Warrant # 7 of 1993
A motion was made by Councilperson. Hile and seconded by
Councilperson Marisa to approve the General Fund Warrant # 7 of
1993 , voucher numbers 232 - 269 , in the amount of $ 5 , 326 . 78 .
A roll call vote on the motion resulted as follows :

Approval of Town Clerk ' s June 1993 Report
A motion was made by Councilperson Marisa and seconded by
Councilperson Rile to approve the Town Clerk ' s June 1993 report as
submitted .
A roll call vote on the motion resulted as follows :

S upervisor ' s June 1993 Report Postponed
The Supervisor ' s June 1993 was postponed until the August 1993
meeting due to lack of quarum .
D iscussion :
Councilperson Marisa asked if it was possible for the Supervisor ' s
Report to include interest of the invested monies in the account
balance .
S upervisor Oltz said she can show a fund balance on the reports
submitted to the Board .
