upv Varvayanis called the meeting to order at 8;15 a.m.
Town Clerk Sambi liollenbecl explained that she and Z onum g Officer Henry Slater had
completed interviews for the position of Deputy Town Clerk and Receiver/ .o ni Secretary and
would like to hire Kristin Strickland-. Board mercbers were provided with a copy of her letter of
application and resume. She was the only candidate who had experience bath as a Deputy
Clerk and oning ecreiary-
RESOLUTION #66 - HIRE DEPUTY CLERK f ZONINGS SECRETARY
upv Vasvaymils offered the following resolution and asked for its adoption;
RESOLVED, that this Town Board does hereby hire Kristin StriOdan d to serve as
Deputy Clerk/ Receiver ofToxes and Zoning Secretary, at the rate of $10.00 per hour, with a
six rnonth probationary term,

RESOLUTION #67 - DESIGNATE & PAY POLLING PLACES
Gl liatdeld offered the followmg resolution and asked for its a.deplaon;
RESOLVED, thi1' the following is the list of designated polling places in the'Cuwn of
Dryden for the year 2008;
District #1 - Etna Fire S ea.tion
District #2 - Fkeeville Fire Station
District #3 - Dryden I, ire Siation
District #4 - Varna Community Center
District 05 - Etna lore Station
District #6 - Dryden Village Hall

And it is further
RESOLVED, that this Town Board authorize the Supervisor to pay the polling places
$100.00 per district for the use of their facilities for 2003.
