TOWN BOARD MEETING MINUTES
Special Meeting 7 : 30 P . M . October 13 , 1992
Working Session
Fiscal Year 1993 - Budget
PRESENT :

Supervisor Oltz called the meeting to order at 7 : 30 P . M .
Councilperson Marisa presented the Town Board with a draft of the
revised Tentative Fiscal Year 1993 Budget to date .
The Town Board made the following revisions and adjustments to the
Tentative Budget .
1993 Youth Programs :
1 ) Jennings Pond Swimming - no funding for 1993
2 ) Summer Recreation - net amount to be raised in taxes - 0 - ; will
provide bookkeeping services for 1993 ; 10 % surcharge will be
charged in 1994 to cover administration expenses .
3 ) Danby Motor Development - A 10 % surcharge is to be added for
administration expenses .
4 ) Afterschool and ACE - Amount to be raised in taxes $ 6 , 582 . 00
for matching funds only . ( Funds for payrolls must be
deposited before withdrawal . )
General Budget Expenses :
Salaries for the following will be funded at the 1992 level :
1 ) Court Clerk
2 ) Bookkeeper
3 ) Town Clerk
4 ) Deputy Town Clerk
5 ) Communications ( Office Assistant )
6 ) Superintendent of Highways
7 ) Code Enforcement Officer
8 ) To negotiate CSEA Contract - limit wage increase to 2 %
O ther Items discussed and adjusted :
1 ) Old Highway Barns - Heat and electric to be turned off and the
Recycling Center moved to the New Highway Barns . The Town
will get an appraisal for the property . If and when the
building is sold funds will be used to build salt sheds at the
New Highway Barns .
Adjustments were made to the following accounts :
A1410 . 4 reduced $ 300 . 00
A1420 . 4 " 5000 . 00
A1620 . 4 " 6000 . 00
A3510 . 2 " 400 . 00
A5132 . 4 - remove all items for salt shed ( $ 11 , 300 )
A7620 . 4 reduced 1000 . 00
A8810 . 4 " 400 . 00
