Slater j es° m Roberts and 2nd by C 1 rji Corrigan approve s of 4- 14 -92. Carried Co Rep. Evans - reported ::in reapportionment map. He proposed a map that followed Bone plain Rd. across the Town cif Dryden, giving the upper end of the town to the Groton district. This would make the districts in Dryden of about 6100 each and a district in Groton of 6500. Fie alsin made a counter prcipo sal of district #13 - 6209; district #14 - 6E16 and the Groton district 6309. This is about 12 percent of the Groton district that would bR from the Town of Dryden. He did not think that the vc1tes were there to � pass map 29L. • Supv Schug - wanted t� � know if the Town Board passes a resolution to support this kind of a breakup when is the time to ask, who is going to pay fcor the extra voting machines? Co. Rep. Evans -- w i l l be glad to ask. He wondered if the lines could be adjusted in the town so that another voting machine would riot be req u i red. I Clm Corrigan - was in favor cif c ild map 29L. The town should give up as few people as possible and let all of the other townships share equally. Clm Hatfield had nci prciblem with voting in Groton, Win, but did riot like Mr. Shurt leff telling the county board what he will and will not accept. Co. Rep. Atty Perkins - the status is that the applications have been sent to the State Comptri.- Il ler and are i:jn the desk of Robert Martin who is an associate attorney. He has reviewed all of the material that was sent to him including the opinion of local counsel and has fund everything in order except that he has dyes have one concern about the opinion of legal counsel. That has to do with -the eligibility of the voters who voted or) the proposition. Mr Martin has been instructed by his bureau chief to review the memorandum of law that Willkie, Farr and Gallagher had sent him. He will then write a memo to his department for discussion arid they will then make a decision as to whether i.-jr not everything is in good shape to send on to the bureau of local government research. This board resolved to allow the same class of people under the same gual i f icat icins to vote in the second election that voted in the first election. We did that based or] what we believed the law to be in the State of New York based on the court decision. Charles Geisler, 517 Ellis Hollow Creek Rd. - gave the board a petition from the neighbors in the Ellis Hollow Rd. area regarding land use of dirt biking.
