Regular (2nd) meeting cf the month held at the Town Hall, Town of Cortland-
ville, Supervisor Fank K. Taylor presiding.
Other members present were: Justices Donald Eaton and Ron. i"ish,
Councilmen Sherman Griswold and H. Wadsworth. Also present, Book-keeper
Supervisor Accounts, Rudy Krauklis, Town torney John Gardner and

Walker of the Water Dep't., Town Engineer,' Wm Rowell of Cazenovia,
also present.
s,Tovin Clerk read minutes of the last meeting and they were approved.
Town Clerk read two letters from, Cortland Co. Health Dept. to, Gerald
Contento and Florence Rosen in regards -.--,to their violating rules and reg-
ulations relative to "open burning", letters were filed by the clerk.
Town Clerk read decision of County Planning Board approving the re-
zoning lands of Hall and Stearns on Lorings Corners road from R f to
Business.
-ONown Clerk read letter from Wm. Porter requesting approval of the
Town Board for him to go ahead to construct Sewer Line from the Plaza,
via, West Road to McLean rd. to intersection of Tompkins ext-,
Town Clerk also read a letter from Dept. Transportation of the State
of New York advising the Town Board that they had approved of a new traffic Jig]
from Lamont Circle onto Rte 40.81, this entails the change in operation of
signal 5

.Motion by Mr. Eaton seconded by Mr. Wadsworth that the Town Board
mill petition the City of Cortland requesting that the City take the 4ewer
from the Groton Ave Shopping Plaza and any other sewerage on the line when
the Board has an estimate of the :Parker Shopping Center on West Road and
*McLean rd. and the State property on West Road. (rte.281), sewerage to be deli-
vered to Main Sewer System at or near the intersection of McLean rd and
Tompkins St. ext..

Motion was made by Mr. Eaton seconded by Mr. Grisw-old that the
petition of Hall & Stearns for a rezoning of their land ab Lorings
Corners be approved as per recommendation of the County Planning
Board, from R1 to Business --- the above resolution was tabled
until. the next meeting December 28, 1968 at 1:30 P.M.
Engineer Rowell reported that theke was so much snow in the area •
he could not make any recommendations regarding the catch basins
at the Gunzenhauser Tract. Will inspect at a future date.
Town Attorney Gardner reported that he went to Albany and talked
with senlorAttorney about the extension of Water Dist. # 1 to the
Neiderhofer Tract on McLean rd.
After a conference Wed. P.M. Dec. 18, with Supervisor Taylor,
Engineer Rowell, Mr. Neiderhofer and his Attorney John Fitz-
gerald, Mr. Gardner states that a new water District may have
to be formed for -the Neiderhofer Tract. I
Motion was made by Mr. Wadsworth seconded by Mr. Eaton that
3 new lights be installed on Louise Street and one light changed.
This motion was carried.
The last meeting of the year is scheduled for 1:30 P.M. on,
December 28, 1968 at the Town Hall, there being no further business
meeting,mas adjourned.
