Public Hearing on the Water Budgets for Water -Dist, #1 and # 2 and Sewer Dist. # 0, held as advertized* Town Clerk read notice of Publication in the Cortland Standard, on motion of Mr. • Eaton seconded by Mr. Wadsworth that these preliminary Budgets as presented be adopted with unanimous approval of Board members present, Justicei Eaton , Councilmen Sherman Griswold and Henry Wadsworth and Supervisor Frank K. Taylor. Hearing was closed. Regular meeting of the Town Board held at 8 P.M. with Supervisor Frank K. Taylor presiding,- present were Justice Eaton Councilmen Sherman Griswold and Henry Wadsworth, also present were Bookkeeper for Supervisor, R. Krauklist Engineer, Wm. Rowell, Water Supt. F.Walker,Assessor W.E.Becker,,Hgwy Supt. Harry Cooper ,,Town Attorney, John Gardner, Mr. Lyle Smith, Dick Wilkins and residents from ',`_`L0UISE- Dr. * t,6 Town Clerk read letter from LaVerne & Carlton Neiderhofer' in regards to water on their Tract off Fairview Dr. & McLean Rd.., This letter, on motion of Mr. Eaton seconded by Mr. Wad- sworth accepted and filed. Motion carried. 7 residents of Louise appeared before the Board to object • to Clarence Homer moving an older house on Starr Rd. to a lot owned by Mr. Homer on Louise st. The Town Clerk and Supervisor explained"to the residents that -the Town has no restrictions on.price or value on homes. Town Attorney explained that a new heating system and plumbing and wireing would. .-ble-installbd.-I". as in a new home and other needed repairs , f , &:r't the owner, Mrs. Blanchard to live in. ,O'V�AMotion by Mr. Griswold seconded by- Mr-,- Wad-s-worth that a Public Hearing be held October 16, 1968 at 7:30 P.M. on the extension of the Water District to include the Neiderhofer Tract on Fairview Dr. & McLean Rd., this motion was carried. Mr. Taylor read a letter from the Homer Fire Department a report of Fire calls made in Cortlandville. Town Clerk read a letter from Ralph Wilkins & R.S.Wilkins objecting to certain zoning change in the new ordinance. U *,p Upon motion of Donald Eaton seconded by Sherman Griswold and carried unanimously, the following Resolution was adopted, WHEREAS, By Resolution of the Town Board adopted July 5, 1967 a Zoning Commission of the Town was appointed to recommend the boundaries of the new original Zoning districts and to re- commend new appropriate regulations to be enforced therein, and WHEREAS, A public hearing was held before said Zoning Commission on July 17,, 1967, upon its final report; and WHEREAS, Said Zoning Commission did submit its final report to the Town Board at its regular iaeeting held Sept.20, 1967, and WHEREAS, The Town Board did hold a..public hearing, upon said final report of the Zoning Commission on the 24th day. of April 1968 and on the 28th day of August 1968; and WHEREAS, Said mutter was therafter referred to the Cortland County Planning Board which approved said new Zoning Ordinance and,Map at its regular meeting held September 12, 1968,. and filed its written recommendation ,of approval thereof with the Town Clerk of Cortlandville; The Town Board of the Town of Cortlandville, in the County • of Cortland, , under the authority of the Town Law of the State of New York, hereby ordains, enacts and publishes as follows: Vote polled by Town Clerk: Eaton.....yes Griswold.......yes Wadsworth..®..ayes Mr. Taylor.....yes Fish......a.....absent a� Town Clerk read letter from Rev. Charles Drumm, chairman of the County Planning Board approving new Zoning Ordinance and Map. Copy of Ordinance as published by Cortland Standard will be inserted on pages following these minutes. Richard Wilkins appeared before the Board to object to change in zoning of Wilkins property on West Road (Camp) and land in Blodgett Mills. 1"Y Motion was made by Mr. Eaton seconded by Mr. Griswold that the Town Clerk be empowered to appoint a dog enumerator for the year 1968. Motion carried. JG'.' *,Motion was made by Sherman Griswold seconded by Henry Wadsworth as follows: III I;IJ 11;11 1 0 !"iIi I !XIM11111''W1111 , 2= granted a permit to relocate and install its electric lines and conduits underground in the roadbed of Surrey Drive and Deer Run at a distance of at least 22 feet n4k*6h of the center line ,of the right of way of said public roadsupon the following conditions. 1, all undergroung wires and lines be installed at a distance of at least 30 inches below the surface of the paved portion of the road and at least 30 inches below the surface of the ground at all points. 2, Niagara Mohawk shall locate said wires and lines and prepare a map thereof and furnish the Town a copy of said Map. 3, Niagara Mohawk shall at its own expense and instance, make available one member of its employees on the site of said installation on Surrey Dr. and Deer Run at all times when the Town is engaged in working in the road bed near said Install- ations. 161 4, Niagara Mohawk shall relocate all accessory lines and conduits at a distance of more than 22 feet from the center line of the righaof®way of Surry Dr. and Deer Run. 5• Any further installation of lines under the pavement shall be encased in concrete or, ckppeB with concrete A ey r r ,a pursuant to permit of the Town Superintendent of Highways. 6. All lines installed more than-22 feet from the center line* of the roads shall be marked by Niagara Mohawk by an indicator -_ tape. Motion by Mr. Eaton seconded by Mr. Wadsworth that Victor Metcalf of the Planning Board be author- ized to attend State Planning Meeting at Fallsburg, at Town expense, meeting to be held Oct. 20,thru 22, 1968. This motion was carried. Engineer•Rowell reported on Gunzenhauser Tract on Dime Hollow Road and said it is not ready to be accepted. Also reported on the Stiles Development, plans do not show connection with Sharp Tract on Highland Road. Motion was made by Mr. Eaton seconded by Mr. Wadsworth that Mt. Rowell order 50 maps of the new Zoning,printed.
