HomeMy WebLinkAbout1968-08-21I': .i 8/21/1968 Regular meeting of the Town Board . 2nd meeting of the month of August. Supervisor Frank K. Taylor presiding, other members present were, Justice Donald Eaton Councilmen Sherman Griswold and Henry Wadsworth. Also present were Hgwy. Supt. Harry Cooper Superintendent of Water installation & Sewer,Fred Talker, Eng. Wx Rowell, Book-keeper to Supervisor R.Krauklis and residents;, Robert Glazier and Benny Gunzenhauser. Town Clerk read minutes of the last meeting and they were approved. Robert Glazier appeared before the Board(from Village of Mc- Graw) in regard to a resolution passed by their school board. As follows: If the voters of the former Blodgett Mills School District give permission to the McGraw Central School Board to demolish the former school building and deed the property to the Cortlandville Town Board for use as a re- creation area, the McGraw School Board will comply with the wishes of the Blodgett Mills Common School District voters. Letter to the Town Board dated .August 19, 1968. Motion by Mr, Eaton seconded by Mr. Wadsworta that the resolution passed by the Town Board on July 3rd 1968 in regard to the Town accepting the school property in Blodgett Mills be amended to add,the land to be used for recreational purposes. Motion carried. Robert Glazier will be so informed. A � 33 Motion by Mr. Eaton seconded by Mr. Griswold that the Supervisor be empowered to sign the deed to a portion of the Town around in front of the property of Carmen .Pace on Pheasant Run, -,any and all expenses be paid by Mr. Pace. Motion carried. The above resolution is approved by the Highway Supt. Harry Cooper. 70 Regarding Lawn Problem at Gunzenhauser residence, Starr Rd. Benny Gunzenhauser appeared before the Board to see what could be done about eliminating his -problem as a result of damage caused by Parti Drive during storm seasons. He is willing to -furnish a tractor with blade to help do the job, Mr. Cooper, Hgwy Supt. is willing to co-operate as soon as possible. • There being no further business at this time meeting was adjourned Lelan M.
