8 P.M., Town Hall, 15 Terrace Road,Cortland in the Town of Cortlandville
Supervisor Frank K. Taylor presided with the following present:
Justices Donald Eaton and Ronald Fish, Councilmen Henry Wadsworth and
Sherman Griswold, also book-keeper for Supervisor, Rudy Krauklis,
Town Attorney J, Gardmer, Town Engineer, W. Rowell, Highway Sup't.
Harry Cooper and Fred Walker ,sup1t of water and Sewer Installations.
Residents of the Town, John Grady, Milt Stout, Jerry Dunlwa.p, Lyle
Smith, Jim Wood, Attorney, Frank Visco,Attorneyfl John MacNeil Engineer
Mr. W.G.Heaslip, Ben Gunzenhauser. Also present was Town Assessor,
® W.E.Becker.
*iqR Town Clerk read minutes of the last meeting and they were approved.
Also a letter wa's read by the Town Clerk from the Department of Trans-
portation regarding a 35MPH Max. speed on Tioughnioga Ave. A study will
be made of this area, regarding signs, Children at Play etc6 any sign not
included in the New York State Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices
can not be considered a "standard"device and can, therefore not be used.

44'�he Supervisor was empowered to renew the agreement between the
Town of Cortlandville and the Animal Medical Center regarding disposal
pickup of dogs etc. Motion was made by Councilman Wadsworth seconded by
Councilman Griswold and passed unanimously by the Board.
Engineer W.Rowell reported that he had consulted with Mr. Riter
of the Homer Fire Department in regard to the Sosnovich Tract and they
in turn consulted with Engineer John MacNeil who will revise the Plans
for this Tract accordingly. Discussion with Mr. Rowell followed in regard
to water and sewer lines in this proposed Tract. Mr. Rowell recommends
that the Sewer be an 8P1 line and the water be a 61, line with at least
4 hydrants.
Mr. Frank Visco, Attorney, Mr. John Grady and Mr. Jerry Dunlop
were heard opposing this particular project of multiple dwellings, Mr
Grady felt that the buildings should be out of brick not of blocks and
Mr. Dunlop asked about the traffic hazard problem.
*0 Motion was made by Justice Fish seconded by Councilman Griswold
that the Town Clerk is not authorized to issue a building permit for any
structure in this tract until such time as a new Plan is presented and
approved by the Board showing each plot for each building with 4000 sq.
ft, per family per unit, This motion was carried.
Benny Gunzenhauser appeared before the Board relative to a
water problem on his property which comes from Parti Drive onto this
Starr Road residence. Water has washed away a new lawn he had made, Mr.
Cooper Highway Suptt. and Engineer Rowell will/investigate this problem
and report to the Board*
'Motion was made by Supervisor Taylor seconded by Councilman
sworth that a street light be installed on Clinton Extension out of
WdKc'Graw
in front of the residence of Justice Donald Eaton. Motion was
carried. Mr. Fish is to investigate the installation of another light
between this light and the Village line,

Motion was made by Mr. Griswold seconded by Mr. Eaton that all bills
as presented by the Town Clerk and audited by the Town Board, with
the exception of Dr. W. McAuliffe"s bill which is assumed to be a
Village charg99 be paid. This motion was passed unanimously.
