The second meeting- of the month was held at the Town Hall at 8 P.M., Supervisor Frank K. Taylor presiding: Present were Board Members Justice's A. Fish and D. Eaton, Councilmen S. Gris�vold and H. Wadsworth. Also in attend - were Engineer, Wm. Rowell, Highway Sup't H. Cooper, Sup't. of hater and Sawer Installations, Fred Walker and a resident from Lamont Circle, Mr. N.R.Hall.Mr. R. Krauklis BKPR.,also present. r �i � Town Clerk react minutes of last meeting and they were approved. Letter was also read by the Clerk from S4_ate Dept. of Transportation advising that a new semi -traffic -actuated signal light will be installed at the intersection of Houte 281 and McLean Road. Also a stop sign has been erected at the intersection of Route 13 and Gallagher road Mr. Hal, reported to the Board that there was a need for a new traffic control at the intersection of Route 13 and Lamont Circle. He also informe d the Board of poor lighting conditions on Lamont Circle and the hazards regarding the Town Dump on Stupke Road. 16 "p� Town Attorney was instructed to write a letter to N.Y.S. Office of Transportation requesting a survey of Traffic conditions at Ate. 13 and Lamont Circle Motion was made by Mr. Wadsworth seconded by Mr. Eaton that Mr. Fish make a survey of street lighting on Lamont Circle. This motion was passed. Motion was made by Mr. Wadsworth seconded by Mr. Griswold that Town Attorney Gardner and Justices Fish and Eaton attend - a seminar at Cortland State University every Wednesday from February 28, thru April 10, 1968, registration fee to be paid by the Town, this motion was carried. Motion was made by Mr. Eaton seconded by Mr. Fish that the Wednesday meeting nights, March 6,20 and April 3 be changed to Thursday nights Mar.7,21st and April 4th. due to -the Seminar at the College. Motion carried. �'A Motion was made by Mr. Wadsworth seconded by Mr.. Eaton that Lawrence Holcomb be appointed to the Appeals Board to fill unexpired term of Ed. Pettet. This motion was carried. >0 Motion was made by Mr. Fish seconded by Mr. Eaton that the low bid of S.C.Hansen of Horseheads for a new Backhoe in the amount of $6925.00 be accepted. Motion was carried.
