Town Clerk notice of PublicatIon off' Droposed change in the ordinance. No one ,#-appeared to object to the amendment and the hearing was declared , M closed on motion of Justice Paton seconded by Councilman and carried. Regular meeting was called to order by Supervisor Taylor, members present were Justice Eaton , �ouncilmer. Griswold and Miller. Others present were,Town Assessor H. Wadsworth, Town Engineer, Wm. Howell, Book-!-,,_,ee'per for Supervisor, R. KrauklJ.S, P'hil Allen L-Ind Patrick Hamill... Town read minutes of the last meeting and they were approved. Superirisol- Ta—for sa!O. a resolution had been passed by the County Board of Supervisors requesting the County 'Highway Supt. to make a survey of the Bridge problem in the Village of McGraw. Mr. Taylcr and Mr. Howell reported on- the drainage in Blodgett Mills, Mr. Rowell believes that the raiircaO, has soille obligatio.n. to open the ditch along the railroad. �W 0>�, Motion was made by- Kr. Eaton seconded by Mr. Miller -t.'hlat Mr. Rowell write a letter to ";he railroad asking them open ditches on their property. Mr. Taylor and Mr. Rowell also inspected the McGraw area and - Mr. Rowell sa-1,C4 now that the County Highway Supt. had beer i nst-rxz 0 to make a study of their -problems, the Town should, wait and see 'What transpires. Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Eaton seconded by Mr. Gris"wold h t that e ;amendment to L. 11 the Dumb Ordinance be approved. Motion was carried. Lelan M' Brookins, ��oyhr Clerk 178 AT A MEETING OF THE TOWN BOARD OF THE TOWN OF CORTLANDVILLE, HELD AT THE TOWN HALL IN THE TOWN OF CORTLANDVILLE, CORTLAND CO NEW YORK, ON THE 15th DAY OF OCTOBER, 1969. Upon motion by Donald Eaton, Justice of the Peace, and seco by Sherman Griswold, Councilman, and carried unanimously, the follo�- ing was adopted: That 'Section 2 of "Ordinance prohibiting the use of any lands as a. dump or dumping grounds, except lands established and designat by the Town Board as a public dump or dumping ground" heretofore adopted on April 6, 1960, and thereafter amended on May 6, 1963, be amended to read as follows: Section 2. Site. The premises conveyed by Louis C. Russell and Helen D. Russell his wife, to the Town. of Cortlandville, by deed dated and recorded July 3, 1963, in. the Cortland County Clerk's Office in Liber 287 of Deeds at Page 852, and located on South Hill on the southeasterly side of the street or highway known as the South Hill Road in the Town o Cortla.ndville, is hereby designated as the public dump or dumping grounds of this Town for the deposit of rubbish, garbage, tree trun stumps and other course materials by residents of the Town of Cort- la.ndville, subject to the regulations and restrictions herein pro- vided. The regulations herein contained shall also apply to any other lands or premises heretofore acquired or leased for deposit o disposal of rubbish. Dated: October 15th, 1969. 1 • 1
