August 2C, IQ60, 8 P.N. 2nd Regular meeting of the miontuh held by the Town Board of the Town of Cortlandville at, the Town Hall, Terrace Road; Supervisor Frank K. Taylor presided, Board members present were Justice Don Eaton and Councilman Sherman Griswold. Justice Fish and Councilman Miller were not present at this time. 0 Attending this meeting were Mrs. Jones, Mrs. Hazel Jebbetts, Lyle Smith and Phil Allen, also Town Attorney Gardner, Town Engineer Wm. Rowell, Book-keeper for Supervisor, R. Krauklis and Fred. Walker of Water Department. Town Clerk read the minutes of the last meeting and they were app- roved. Town Clerk read a letter from Jon J. Fitzgerald Attorney, asking "o-os for an adjournment of act". -on on the Alexander re -zoning. Motion was made by Justice Eaton seconded by Councilman Griswold that the letter be filed and no action taken by the Board until further In- vestigation has been made. Motion was carried. A)II Motion was made by Mr. Taylor seconded by Justice Eaton that a certified check for $500.00 be returned to Vern Niederhofer as roads on. Lamont Circle Tract have been accepted as satisfactory. �� I � This\motion was carried. Motion was made by Mr. Eaton seconded by Mr. Griswold that a letter read by Mr. Taylor directed to the State Dept. of Transportation at Syracuse requesting a Traffic Light at Intersection of Rte. iq and Starr Road be approved. This motion was carried. Engineer Rowell reported. on the Bean easement for Sewer across his property to the ATTan-tic S-,ation. Mr. Bean came to the meeting at D 9:45 P.M. and signed easement. Mr. Robert J. McKinley Y.TE. was present, representing Atlantic -Richfield and approved the easement. Resolution follows on next page. Upon motinn by 0 0 0 and seconder by • ':� '• the following Resolution was unanimously adopted: WHEREAS, Atlantic Richfield Company, as agent for Sibarco Stati Inc., has requested the Town to lay, operate and maintain a sewer pipeline or main, together with the necessary fixtures and appurt- enances used or adopted for the transmission of sewage, over lands Dwned by Robert P. Bean as shown on a map of Sanitary Sewer Connec- tion, Sibarco Stations, Inc., Atlantic Richfield Company, Inc., Rou e �13 and Starr Road, Cortland, New York, made by Robert J. McKinley, Professional Engineer; and WHEREAS, Said Robert P. Bean has delivered to the Town a. Topose Instrument dated August 20, 1969, conveying an easement having a width of ten feet on each side of said sanitary sewer line as shown on said map: NOW, THEREFORE, Be it RESOLVED, That the aforesaid easement be, and the same hereby is formally accepted by the Town Board; and be it further RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Town of Cortlandville, be, and h hereby is, authorized and directed to record the aforesaid easement in Cortland County Clerk's Office. • 1 • 1 'Jk p'y Town Clerk read a Detition from residents of Allen Dr. and Home- stead Road and Hals-tead for a re -zoning from IR2 to R3 of lands supposedly owned by Mary Sosnovich.
