N.Y. 13045 ' July 180 1969 Per. Frank Taylor,Supervisor Town of Cortlandville 1.5 Terrace Rd. Cortland, N.Y. 13045 Dear Sirr ' This letter is in reply to your phone; call i. dated July 17, 1969 pertaining to relocation of under ground lines of Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation at Deerfield Heights tract.. The underground lines were relocated on November 21, 1968. The new line crosses the road 50' West of the old location and 36" deep., The cleaning of the ditch and smoothing the landscape was to be completed by the Town and billed to Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation and we will pay for same. We also will have a man on the job to locate linen when the Town is ready to proceed with the work. We could not possibly keep a man there 8 hours every day they work. He will locate the line and explain to the Town where to dig. This is standard throughout the Utilities. Enclosed is a sketch showing the new location but we will send you a print of the complete Tract when our Engineering Department completes same. All buried cable in the Tract is marked with indicator. tape 12" on top of the cable, so any person hitting the tape should stop at that point and notify the Company. If we can be of further service please do not hesitate to call. 1 1'
