P.O.address, 15 Terrace Road, Cortland, New, York Supervisor Frank K. Taylor presiding: Board members present were Justices Ron Fish and Don Eaton , Counciimen Sherman Griswold and Ray riiller. Aiso presL�'_Ot were Town AL;torney John Gardner, Highway Supt. Harry Cuoper, Town Assessor, Henry Wadsworth and Book-keeper for Supervisor, R.Yi-rauklis. Motion was made by Mr. Eaton seconaeu -by M-L-. Griswold that the charge for use of the cacxnoe in the water Department be not less thaii O.LU.00 per.hour, that the buperintendent of Maintenance be so advised of this Resolution by the Town Board. This Resolution was passed unanimously. lair. Taylor reported to the Town -board of the damage to wall and cellar of Mr. Coiontino,s house (under construction) due to neavy rain, also Mr, Taylor informed the Board he had reported same to Charies Denniston the Insurance Agency for Town Insurance. Mr. Cooper reported on damage done by heavy rain on the 11oxie Gorge road and the work he had done to repair said damage. Mr. Cooper also reported that he had hired Spencer Williams and Robert Graham for the Highway Department , Williams at $2.00 uer hr. and Graham at $2.25 per hr. Mr. & Mrs. Leonard Bacon appeared before the Board to explain a pro- gram, to start a rerreation, park for overnight campers. Supervisor Taylor informed. Mr. Bacon he should consult the Health Department first. Mr. Conrad Collins of Manlius, N.Y. appeared before the Board with a drawing for a strage garage on Town property near the Town Garage. Wit Motion was made by Mr. Eaton seconded by Mr. Miller that the Flectiorl. Inspectors be paid $1.75 per hr. for actual time worked. This motion was carried. Motion was wade by Mr. Fish seconded by Mr. 's-taton that all bills as presented by the Town Clerk and audited by the Town Board. be paid as follows: General Fund $2510-68 Highway Fund 1930-97 Water Dist. 1 890-07 Sewer Dist. 1 11-31 This motion was passed unanimously. There being no further business at this time, meeting was adjourned. Lelan M. Brookins, Town Clerk 0 1 Resolution follows concerning acceptance of College View Drive. 0 Upon motion by: ' "` .`•' e e • , and t h seconded by dire ' 0 0, ,.A-- the following Resolution was unanimously adopted: WHEREAS, The Planning Board of the Town has approved a certain subdivision plat of lands of Ralph Sharp and Clestner F. Sharp, his wife, known as "College View Tract", subject to the filing a perform- ance bond in the amount of $2500.00 to guarantee the suitable and satisfactory construction and grading with paved drainage ditches o a certain proposed street known as "College View Drive" on or bef or July 1, 1969, in accordance with a certain acceptance and profile ma.p of said street and specifications therefor made by F. Donald McKee and Milton A. Greene, Licensed Surveyors, and Walter J. Tennalt, Jr., Professional Engineer, dated May 24, 1968; and WHEREAS, Said Ralph F. Sharp and Clestner F. Sharp, his wife, have delivered to the Town Clerk their performance bond in the amount of $2500.00�,to guarantee the construction and grading of College View Drive as shown on said acceptance and profile,e map; and WHEREAS, Said Ralph F. Sharp and Clestner F. Sharp, his wife, have formally offered to deddlcate said street to the public; and WHEREAS, Said Ralph F. Sharp and Clestner F. Sharp, his wife, have delivered to the Town a proposed deed dated December 30, 1968, their conveying all of Atz right, titl@e and interest in College View Dri as shown on the aforesaid Subdivision Plat of their lands, together with a temporary turn -around having a. radius of 60 feet as shown or said plat: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT 1 • 1 RESOLVED, That the aforesaid street or highway known as "Collage • View Drive" be, and it hereby is, formally accepted as a public s of the Town of Cortlandville, Cortland County, New York; and be it further RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Town of Cortlandville be, and he hereby is, authorized and directed to record the aforesaid deed in Cortland County Clerk's Office. aet 1
