Taylor presided j5Y49A1**9F­ with the following Board members present ' Councilmen Sherman Griswold an(t Ray Miller,, Justices Donald Eaton and Ron. Fish. Others present were R. Krauklis, book-keeper to Supervisor, Town Engineer, Wm. Rowell, Highway Sup't. Harry Cooper,Town Assessor Henry Wadsworth and Fred Walker, Water maintenance. Mr. Charles Abdallah was present, also Robert Fragnblia. I Town Clerk read minutes of the last meets and they were approved. Town Clerk read two letters from the Health Department relative to both Town Dumps. The letter listed several items that were not in compliance with the New York State Sanitary Code, -ti-- --L, Motion was made by Mr. Taylor seconded by Mr. Fish that Justice Eaton contact the Village of McGraw, Fire Department in regard to burning ead grass on the McGraw Dump. This motion was carried. Motion was made by Mr. Eaton seconded by Mr. Miller that suitable fence be in- stalled at the McGraw Dump. This motion was carried. Motion was made by Mr. Eaton seconded by Mr. Miller that Frank Short of Blodgett Mills be granted 6 Months extension of his Trailer permit, a 10.00 fee was paid to the Town Cler'X and motion was carried. Mr. Taylor read a letter from the New, York Telephone Company request- Ing permission to store some cable reels on Town property on Rte 41. east of the N.Y.S.Garage at Polkville at N.Y.Telephone pole #2, line 29076. Town will not be held responsible for any damage to these reels. A 5S or further informa.tioa r questions, the Town is asked to call Harcld, Tice at 756-9997. The Town Clerk Is instructed to write a letter for more -information, Motion was made by Mr. Fish seconded by Mr. Griswold that the Town Board accept the Specifications of the Cortland County Civil Servigee as recommended by Municipal Service Division at Albany, N.Y.,, for the position of Water Maintenance Man for Cortlandville Water Districts. This motion was carried. A letter was read by Mr. Taylor rectd from the National Grange Ins. Co. in regard to Claim paid to Gordon Hatheway in the amount of $35.00, Jan. 1, 1969. Letter was ordered filed, Robert Fragnolia appeared in defense of the horse barn complaint brought to the Town Boards attention by Mrs. Ray Marsh, Mr. Fragnolia presented a petition of 13 residents stating there was not an.---Vff.en- sive odor nor was there any disturbance relative to the horses being The Town Board members will inspect this situation on Wed. Motion was made by Mr. Fish seconded by Mr. Eaton that a representative of the Credle Equipment Co. be asked to appear before the Town Board I 4) to explain a repair bill which the Board feels is too high. This motion was carried, Motion was made by Mr. Eatbm., XKM seconded by Mr. Miller that a new stbeet light be installed on the end of HAlstead Road, also one on Meadow Lane and one,on Alexandria Dr. This motion was carried.
