January 15 1069, end regular meeting of the year held at
the Town Hall on Terrace Road in the Town of Cortlandville.
Present were Supervisor Frank K. Taylor presiding, Justices
Ronald Fish
and Donald Eaton,
Councilmen Sherman Griswold and
Ray Miller.

The Town Clerk read the minutes of the last meeting and they were
.approved.
Motion was made by Mr. Eaton seconded by Mr. Griswold that- the
two Trailer Park Permits for Robert Bean be approved, this motion
was passed unanimously.

Motion was made by Mr.Grlsw-old seconded byMr. Fish that the Tax
Collector's Bond for Lelan M. Brookins and Supervisor's Dond be
approved, This motion was passed.

The Town Clerk read a let -ter from Dave Siedenberg/ (copy also
having been sent to Harry Cooper) regarding damage done tc his
expensive -fence by the To-wr- Snow Flows. Motion by Mr. Fish sec-
onded by Mr. Griswold that letter be filed with notaticr- that
proper adjustment be made in the spring. This motion was ^alrried.

Motion was made by Mr. Eaton seconded by Mr. Griswold that Mrs.
Henry Wadsworth be hired to assist as Clerk in the Assessor's
Office at a sallary of $1000.00 per year. This motion was carried.

Motion was made by Mr. Fish Seconded by Mr. Eaton that Attorney
John Gardner and Engineer Wm. Howell be re-imbursed for expenses
to Albany in t-Iicir efforts to expedite plans for Water District
3. Motion passed unanimously.
Engineer Wm. 1-11ovell and Engineer MacNeil discussed and e�:plained
the Sewer project on Route 281, West Rd. and McLean road, to date.

the following resolution was unanimously adopted;
WHEREAS, the Town Board by resolution adopted on July 3,1968,
and amended by resolution adopted August 21, 1968, has provided
that the Town Board will accept a conveyance of the Mc Graw
Central School District former schoolhouse property in the Hamlet
of Blodgett -Mills upon the condition that said School District
shall demolish the building to the foundation prior to the delive
of the deed and upon the condition that said real property be
thereafter maintained and used by the Town for the sole purpose
of recreation; and
WHEREAS, a. special meeting of all of the qualified voters
of former Common School District No. 20 of the Town of Cortland-
ville and No. 13 of the Town of Virgil was held on October 21,
1968, and a resolution was adopted authorizing the Board of
Education of said School District to sell and convey said real
property, without consideration, to the Town subject to said
conditions; and
WHEREAS, Mc Graw Central School District has completed
demolition of the building upon said property; and
WHEREAS, Mc Graw Central School District has delivered to
the Town a proposed deed dated January 6, 1969, conveying all of
its right, title and interest in said property subject to the
aforesaid condition; be it
RESOLVED, that the aforesaid schoolhouse property in the
Hamlet of Blodgett Mills be, and it hereby is, accepted as public
-property of the Town to be maintained and used for the sole purpo�e
of recreation by the public; and be it further
RESOLVED, that the Clerk of the Town of Cortlandville be,
and he hereby is, authorized and directed to record the aforesaid
deed in the Cortland County Clerk's Office.
