Taylor presiding, also present were Justice Don Eaton, Councilmen Sherman Griswold and Ray E. Miller, Supervisor's Book-keeper, Rudy Krauklis, Town Attorney John Gardner, Town Engineer, Wm. Rowell, Town Assessor Henry Wadsworth, residents of the Town, Harwood Spaulding and Lauren Tanner.. Town Clerk read the minutes of the last meeting and there were no corrections. Town Clerk read a letter from Ha:r= Bollerc819 N. Lamont Dr. in regards to the excessive noise from the Gutchess Lumber Co. which is located near to the north end of the street. The noise is especially objected to at different hours of the night up to 3 A.M. and again at 7 A.M., when daily operation begins. Supervisor Taylor will contact Mr. Gutchess and advise him of these complaints. Mr. Spaulding and Mr. Tanner complained about the operation of the "Abbotts" on West Road, selling produce at this site. Further investigation will be made. p, Motion was made by Mr. Eaton seconded by Mr. Miller that a street light be installed at the intersection of Wedge Road and Solon Road. This motion was carried unanimously. 44, Motion was made by Mr. Griswold seconded by Mr. Miller that Justice Eaton be allowed necessary expense to go to Binghamton December 4,& 5 • to attend a N.Y.State Traffic Conference. Taylor presided, members present were Justice Donald Eaton and Ronald Fish, Councilmen Sherman Griswold and Ray E. Miller. Also present were Rudy Krauklis, Book-keeper for Supervisor's accounts, Henry Wadsworth, Town Assessor, John Gardner, Town Attorney, Lou Wagner, Highway Supt. Fred Walker, Water maintenance, • Mr. & Mrs. Carl Peterson and Mr. John Barrett. Town Clerk read. minutes of the last meeting and they were approved with no corrections. I v Lou Wagner reported to the Board that he'had hired Paul Cook at $2.25 per hour in the Highway Department. Mr. & Mrs. Peterson complained about the Traffic on Allen Drive from the private Drive of Village Apartments. No Board action at this time. Mr. Barrett complains about Mr. Atkins ( his neighbors) parking his dump truck in a residential district. No Board action. .ik-43 Upon motion of Donald Eaton seconded by Councilman Ray Miller the following resolution was unanimously adopted; RESOLVED, that Francis L. Gorman and Lena K. Gorman have duly performed the obligations of their Performance Bond to guarantee construction of all Maple wood Lane and a portion of Forest Dr. Section B of Forest Acres Sub -division and that said Performance Bond be cancelled and that the security in the form of a certificate on deposit with Dime Savings and Loan Association be surrendered and that the Town Attorney, so notify Dime Savings and Loan Assoc. to this effect. P-10L(4 Motion was made by Mr. Eaton seconded by Mr. Miller that due to the fact, no bids were received for radio units for the Highway Dept. as advertized for opening Nov. 30, 1970, it will be re -bid for Dec. 14, 1970 at 10 A.M.. This motion carried unanimously. Motion was made by Mr. Miller seconded by Mr. Eaton that the resolution as passed for 4 street, lights at the intersection of Rte. 13 and Rte. 281 be amended to read 5 street lights at this location.' Motion was carried. Justice Fish reported he had Byron Stanton in Court for violation of Junk Ordinance and his case was adjourned to Dec. 14, 1970. The Town Clerk will investigate on that date to see if junk has-been cleaned up. _+ jqu Town Clerk reported, to the -Board in regard to delinquent water accounts Fred Walker from Water Dept. was advised by the Board to shut off the water at Robert Babcocks,Don Livingston and Ken Morse. * Iq'I Motion was made by Mr. Miller seconded by Mr. Griswold that all bills as presented. by the Town Clerk and audited by the Town Board be paid as follows: General Fund $2633.04 Highway 8107.45 Water Dist. 1 474.26 Water Dist. 3 820.08 Sewer Dist. 1 105.42 Motion was passed unanimously.
