Seconds Town Boarl meeting of the month of August was
held on the above date at the TownHall on Terrace Rd.,Town
of Cortlandville. Supervisor Frank K. Taylor presiding:
Members present were Justices Donald Eaton and Ronald Fish,
Councilmen Sherman Griswold and Ray Miller. Also present
at this meeting were Town Attorney John Gardner, Town Eng.
Wm. Rowell from the Firm of Stearns & Wheler,Rudy Krauklis
Book-keeper for Supervisor's accounts, Town Assessor Henry
Wadsworth, Highway Supt' Lou. Wagner, Mr. Albin Rothe and
Mr.Barnes from Barker Stores and Attorney Morris Fitts re-
presenting, Barker Stores. Walter Tennant, County Highway
Supt., Don McKee L.S. and Mr. & Mrs. John Grady of Halstead
Rd,
Town Clerk read minutes of the last meeting and there
were no corrections.
yyq Motion was made by Mr. Griswold seconded by Mr. Fish
that a Public Hearing be held at the Town Hall, Wed. Sept.2,70,
at 7:30 P.M. regarding the enlargement of the present Sewer
District to include all of Cortlandville Center Asso. Corp.pbperty,
on McLean Road and West Rd. (281), (see petition and order
filed in the Barker File). This motion was carried unan-
imously
.�t-iO Motion was made by Mr. Miller seconded by Mr. Eaton that
Russell Parsons, Chairman of the Appeals Board be authorized
• to attend the 32nd Annual Planning and Zoning Anstitute at
Homowack Lodge, Spring Glen, N.Y., necessary expense to be
paid by the t®wn on October 11 thru loth, 1970. 'his motion
was carried.
41�101 Motion was made by Mr. Fish seconded by Mr. Miller that
the Performance Bond of Francis & Lena Gorman in the amount
of $3200.00 be accepted. 'his motion was carried.

John Grady of Halstead Rd.appeared before the Board -to bsk
if his property could be connected to the Sewer Line. Engineer
William Rowell will 'make an inspection 'of 'tY s and advise the Town
Board.

TOWN OF CORTLANDVILLE
IAN ORDINANCE CONSTITUTING THE RULES AND REGULATIONS OF ALL WATER
DISTRICTS OF THE TOWN OF CORTL•ANDVILLE GOVERNING THE SUPPLY AND USF
OF WATER.
At a meeting of the Town. Board of the Town of Cortlandville,
held on. August 5, 1970, an Ordinance amending the Ordinance Con.sti
tuting the Rules and Regulations of all Water Districts of the .To
of Cortlandville governing the Supply and Use of Water adopted on.
September 30, 1957, and amended on April 29, 1964, was duly a.doptel:
BE IT ORDAINED by the Town. Board of the Town. of Cortlandville,
Cortland County, New York, pursuant to Article 9 and Article 12 of
the Town Law, as follows:
ARTICLE 1V
SERVICES
1. All water service shall be installed by the ToVa.1 Water
Superintendent, his agents or employees or such persons as he may
designate, at the expense of the consumer. The fee for each Ins
a.tion shall be $125.00, payable in advance to the Town Clerk, whit
shall include the meter, excavation. from main to curb, tapping mail
curb box, pipe frok main. to curb valve only for 3/4 inches maximum
service, shut-off gates and all necessary labor and materials used
in.furn.ish.ing a connection from the main to the curb box only. All
services in. excess of 3/4 inches shall be installed by the Town.
Water Superintendent, his agents or employees, or such persons as
he may designate, and the clErge therefor shall be, cost plus ten.
percen.tum (.10%). All material and meters so used shall be and re-
main. the property of the Water District.
