HomeMy WebLinkAbout06-17-1970June 17, 1970 7:30 P.M. Town Hall, Terrace Road, Cortlandville Regular meeting of the Town Board held on June 17, 1970, 7:30 P.M. at the Town Hall. Supervisor Frank &Aylor, presiding. Board members present were, Justice Donald Elton, Councilman Sherman Griswold and Ray Hiller, absent at this meeting, Ron Fish. Also, present wer;Rudy Krauklis, Book-keeper for Supervisor's accounts, Town Engineer Wm. Rowell, Town Highway Supt. Louis 4agner,Town Assessor Henry Wadsworth. Minutes of the last meeting were read by the Town Clerk and, they were approved. Mr. Taylor reported to the Board that 4 Picnic Tables had been delivered to the playground at Lamont Circle. -141 After discussion, Motion was made by Mr. Eaton seconded by Mr. Miller that the Townof Solon be billed for a second hand snow- plow at a price of '4 41f Motion was made by Mr. Griswold seconded by Mr. Miller that the Town Board be authorized to prepare specifications for Track Type Loader with 4 in one Bucket with Hydralic ripper and cab and advertize for bids, this machine is being purchased for the Town. Dump from General Furd. This motion was carried. Mr. Wadsworth reported on Grievance Day held on June K, 1970, with only 4 people in and two letters to review. Town Engineer Rowell reported that the ditches and other minor details have not been completed on the Gorman Tract. Mr. Rowell also reported that regarding the Sosnowich project on Halstead Tract that the Sewer has not been properly compacted. Mr. Rowell stated that he would send a man from the Office of sTearns & Wheler here on Friday to see that the compacting is done properly. Mr. Nalker will be notified to be at this site Friday A.M. Mr. Sosnowich will be billed for this inspection after it has been approved. t Iqp Motion was made by Mr. Eaton seconded by Mr. Griswold that the Town Attorney, John J. Gardner be authorized to write a letter to Clarence Homer to remove the concrete blocks and concrete chunks on his vacant lot on Louise Street. These must be removed in 20 days.
