Wed. May 20, 1970, 7:10 P.M.
Second meeting g of the month was held at the Town Hall -in
the Town of Cortla-riciville, Supervisor Frank K. Taylor presiding.
Members present were justices Ron Fish and Don Eaton, Councilman
Ray Miller. Sherman Griswold was not present at this time. Also
Present were 11. Krauklis, Book-keeper to the Supervisor, '-'own Eng.
Wm. Rowell, Town Attorney John J. Gardner. Assessor Henry Wadsworth,
0 Highway Supt. Loul-s 1,,Tagner and Fred Walker of the Water Dept.
Town Clerk read minutes of the last meeting and they -v.,,,ere approved.
Fire Chief Bud Qui"nlon of the City of Cortland was present and explained
to the Board the workin� pr,-.cedures and costs involved of the Cit.N

Fire Department. Much discussion followed in regard to forming a
D
Fire Department also about contracting with the City of Cortland, Mr
Fish will investigate furt-.her and report to the Town Board..
,,A� Motion was made bby Mr. Eaton seconded by Mr. Miller that a street
light be installed on a pole to be erected by the Niagara Mohawk Power
Co. just

beyond the
home of
Mr. Martin on Lyncort Drive.
This
motion was
carried
unanimously .
Motion was made by Mr. Miller seconded by Mr. Eaton that the
Gradall be paid for from the Highway Fund at a price of 'j7100.00/
This motion was carried.
The Town Clerk at the request of Verne Niederhofer asked. about
numbering houses in his new development, he was informed that Supervisor
Taylor and Mr. Fish would n:,,,mber the houses as they were needed.
There being, no further business at this time, meeting was
adjourned.
