SPECIAL MEETING
NOVEMBER 4 , 1987
S upv Cotterill called the meeting to order at 12 : 00PM
P resent : Supv Cotterill , Cim Garlock , Clm Schlecht , Clm Evans , Clm
W ebb and Atty Perkins .
RESOLUTION # 163
Clm Garlock offered the following resolution and asked for its
adoption :
RESOLVED , that this Town Board authorize Atty Perkins to proceed
w ith the case in court regarding the Welch application to ZBOA and
authorize Supv Cotterill to sign all necessary papers .
2nd Clm Schlecht Roll call vote - all voting Yes
RESOLUTION # 164

Clm Schlecht offered the following resolution and asked for its
adoption :

RESOLVED , that this Town Board support the Town of Groton for the
✓ equest to the State and the County for a safety device installed
at the intersection of Route 38 and Route 34B ( Peruville Road )
2nd Cim Garlock Roll call vote - all voting Yes
There was some discussion regarding the landfill that could be •
possibly be located in the Town of Dryden and the Town Board
d ecided to invite Frank Proto , Chairman of the Solid Waste
Committee to the Town Board meeting on Nov 10th .
Atty Perkins felt that all of the names and phone numbers should be
made public that have offered their land and pressure should be
made on the county level not to accept this report until all of the
f irst 5 five sites have been tested even if they have to use the
e minent domain procedure .
