Regular meeting of the Town Board, Town of Cortlandville, held
at the Town Hall. Supervisor Frank K. Taylor presiding. Other
board members present were, Justice Ronald Fish; Justice Donald
Eaton; councilmen Sherma-nd Griswold and Ray E. Miller. Also
present were Rudy Krauklis, bookkeeper to the Supervisor;
William Rowell, Engineer; John Gardner, Town Attorney; Henry
Wadsworth, Town Assessor; and Thomas Smith.
Town Clerk read minutes of the last meeting and there were no
corrections.
Mr. Taylor read a letter from Dr. MacLeod asking for a meeting
November 27 or 28. Motion was made by Mr. Miller, seconded by
Mr. Fish that the letter be received and filed. Mr. Taylor
• suggested that if a meeting is to be held, it will have to be
some time in December, 1972.
Town Attorney Gardner presented a petition for rezoning lands
of Norman Grant from R-1 to R-3. The property is located on
Starr Rd. Motion was made by Mr. Eaton, seconded by Mr. Miller
that a Public Hearing be held December 6, 1972 at 7100 P.M.
on the above petition. Motion carried.
�Mr. Taylor had a communication from Mrs. Marie Edsall on Kinney
Gulf road requesting one or two street lights on said road.
Motion was made by Mr. Eaton, seconded by Mr. Griswold that the
following street lights be installed: one-175 watt on role #3,'0v�/��s
"A" Ridge Rd.; one-400 watt at intersection of Rt.281 and Fisher Ave.;
,fir--t:h=r--tee-175 watt on Starr Rd.. Motion carried.
/�V. Motion was made by Mr. Eaton, seconded by Mr. Miller that
Stearns & Wheler be authorized to investigate for a sanitary
sewer on the west side of Rt. 281 to serve a proposed store to
be built by Pecks' Furniture at the intersection of Lamont Circle.
Motion carried.
\ Motion was made by Mr. Eaton, seconded by Mr. Griswold that the
Preliminary Budget for the year 1973 be adopted as the regular
budget. Motion carried.
Motion was made by Mr. Eaton, seconded by Mr. Griswold that all
election bills, as presented by the Town Clerk and audited by
the Town Board, be paid. Amount $2,907.70. Motion carried.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
