Lime Hollow and Route 13 Request: Rezoning from an R2 District to a Business District. Public Hearing"called to order by Chairman, Frank X. Taylor, Supervisor of the Town of Cortlandville. Present mere Town. Board members, R. Fish J.P.,Don Eaton, J.P. Ray Miller,Councilman , Sherman Griswold was not present at this time. Also present, Cecile Burgett, Steno. for the Hearing,Town Attorney, Jahn Gardner, Town Engineer, Wm. Rowell, Town Assessor, Henry Wadsworth, Rudy Krauklis, Book-keeper, for the Supervisor, Mr. & Mrs. Walter Priest, Tom Smith, Bill Burdick, Mr. Cincotta, Mrs. Sylvia Carter, Douglas and Darrell Carter,a.nd Attorney Ed. Hoffman, also, Dan Fagen from the Cortland Standard. After Attorney Gardner read notice of Publication and Attorney Hoffman presented the request, and there being some discussion, the Hearing was declared closed at 7:30 P.M. Regular meeting (2nd for October) called to order by Supervisor Frank K. Taylor, other Board members present were Justices, Fish and Eaton, Councilman R. Miller, Book-keeper R. Krauklis, T. Attorney John Gardner, T. Assessor H, Wadsworth,, Mr. & Mrs. W. Priest, T. Smith and Mr. Cincotta. Town Clerk read the minlates of the 'last meeting a.nd 'there were no corrections. Town Clerk read a letter directed to Supervisor F. K. Taylor from Kenneth L.E. MacLeod, Commissioner of Public Health. see r,Ory of letter below. Cortland, N.Y., RD 13045 Dear Mr. Taylor, I realize that the request as reported in the Cortland Standard for October 5, 1972 to rezone 95 acres of farm land for use as an industrial park in South Cortland is in a preliminary stage of review. But lest there] may be any misunderstandings in regard to our views in this office -in re- gard to such a proposed development, as Commissioner of ITealth I wish -to make it absolutely clear that we shall be insisting upon the provision of public water and public sewage for any such development. RESOLUTION: �- � _4 Motion was made by Mr. Miller seconded by Mr. Eaton that the application for the Job of Real Propert7 ApprRiser submitted- by Robert J. Wells and reviewed. by the Town Board, be accepted and that Mr. Wells be appointed on a temporary basis from Dec. 1, 1972 to December 91,1972 at a salary of $833.33, for the month of December 1972 as Real Property Appraiser. The above sum of 98330will be ?aid from account 1355.1 This motion -;,ja_s carried unanimously. ( %$ Motion by Mr. Eaton seconded by Mr. Miller that the Supervisor be em- powered to sign the Niagara Mohawk Power Contract. Motion carried. Mr. Krauklis and Mr. Taylor ex- plained the budget in detail and there were no objections to sald, Budget. Mr. Taylor declared the Hearing closed. Mr. -Cincotta a resident of Fieldcrest Drive appeared.before the Board to, inquire about rules or codes regarding the installation of wells, plumbing and electrical installations,especially in the new developments of Town of Cortlandvillm. He was informed that the County Health Department had. to approve of wells, sanitation etc.. and, that the Town does not have an es- tablishtd, building Code There being no further business at this time, meeting was adjourned.
