2nd Meeting of the month,
Town Board, Town of Cortlandville,
Members present were Supervisor Frank K, Taylor, presiding, Council-
men Sherman Griswold and Ray Miller. Justices Don Eaton and Ron Fish
were not present.
Others present were B. Krauklis, Book-keeper for Supervisor, Town
Assessor, Henry Wadsworth, Town Attornev, John J. Gardner,Highway
Supt. Lou Wagner, Town Engineer, Wm. Rowell, Fred Walker, MsAntenpnce
Water and Sewer District.
Also present were, John Young,District Conservationist,Salesman
for Badger Water meters,Mr. McCllelan, Surveyor, Don McKee. Mrs.
Priest and her son, reidents from Groton Rd. Ext.
Minutes of the last meeting were read with one correction regarding
the Air Compressor purchRsed for the Water Departmert/ the motion by
Ray Miller was seconded by Mr. Griswold.
Supervisor Taylor asked Mr. Young to report on Smith Brook Stream
Channel improvement, written re"nort foll-oTqs on next -n-q.wes.
Motion was made by Mr. Mi.11er seconded by Mr. Griswold that the
Highway Surt. rronmed with this Program as Der Mr. Youngs review -

on Freetown Corners Road. This motion was passed
Supervisor Taylor read the Notice of Order from Traffic Engineering
and Safety Division regarding 4o MPH on Highland Rcx,:kd,, a Town highway,
between 22? and Hoy rop-d f:� diste-nee of 1.0 miles.
Mr. McCllelan show-md pintures on his projection screen relative
to Badger meters and also had meters, for the Town Bmr(t to examt...-n.e.
Motion was made by Mr. Griswold seconded by R. Miller that the Board
purchase 12 BadFo-,r Meters, _31/4 Recordal at A35-10 each,, motton

plans for Bell Drive Tract. Water and Sewer facilities were discussed
with Engineer Wm. Rowell and Surveyor Don McKee. Mr. Gorman was unable
to be present of this time, however, Motion wRs made by Mr. Griswo101
seconded by Mr. Miller that Engineer Row -ell explore preliminary plans
