Also present were Mr.
& Mrs. Walter Priest, groton Ave ext.
residents.
Town Clerk read the minutes of the last meeting and there were
no corrections.
Supervisor read a report from the Homer Fire Department
of their service calls from April 1, 1971 thru March 31, 1972
for Town of Cortlandville as follows:

Motion was made by Ron Fish seconded by Ray Miller
that said report bo'accepted and filed. Motion was carried.
5� Motion was made by Mr. Eaton seconded by Mr. Miller
that the bid of Brockway Motor �Co. -,for €a new heavy duty
truck with Snow Plow be accepted at a price of $19,900.
This motion was carried.
iA Motion was made by Mr. Miller seconded by Mr. Eaton
that the Town erect t� 407 feet of 5® fence on Lamont -Circle
playground property on the west adjoining the R.R. property,
cost to be paid out of the recreation budget.- This motion
was carried.

that roger STafford of the down'Highway Dept. be increased

Upon motion by . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . seconded
Councilman Ray E. Miller the following Resolution
was unanimously adopted:
RESOLVED, That effective May 1, 1972, there shall be a Board
of Assessment Review of the Town to consist of three members who
shall have the powers and duties as -set forth in Section 1524 of t4
Real . Property Tax Law; and be it further
RESOLVED, That ibach member of said Board of Assessment Review
shall be paid by the Town the sum of Twenty Dollars ($20.00) on a
per diem basis for their respective services at the annual meeting
to hear complaints and at subsequent adjourned hearings; and be it
further
RESOLVED, That the first Board of Assessment Review appointedi,
effective May 1, 1972, shall consist of the following:
Carl M. Burnham of 4081 Westmore Lane, Town of Cortlandville,
Ito serve a term of five (5) .years;
Warren E. Barth of 42 East Main Street, Village of McGraw, Ne
York, to serve a term of four (4) years;
Francis R. Sears of Sears Road, Town of Cortlandvfll.e, to s
a term of three (3) .years.

Application, Regarding the Recreation Program with the Village of McGraw®
The following resolution was adopted upon motion of Councilman Griswold
......_._.... __._� o seconded by Justice, Ron Fish
all voting in the affirmative.
WHEREAS monies have been allocated in the 1972 �
�. Budget in
the Town of Cortla.ndville for Recreation with the Village of McGraw as
well as monies for the purchase of materials for a youth recreation pro-
gram in the nature of Arts and Crafts to be used in the Town outside of
the Village of McGraw for a Youth Recreation Program, therefor, g
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board authorize the Supervisor, Frank �
K. Taylor to sign an application for this project and that the Town Clerk,
Lelan M. Brookins, be authorized to sign the Resolution of Certification, C
