Wednesday- March 1, 1972 - 7:30 P. Nf.
Regular meeting of the Town Board held at the Town Hall.
Deputy Supervisor, Sherman Griswold presided with board members
present as follows- Justice Donald Eaton, Justice Ronald Fish,
Councilman Ray E. Miller, bookkeeper to the Supervisor Rudy
Krauklis, Engineer William Rowell., Assessor Henry Wadsworth,
Town Attorney John Gardner, Water & Sewer Maintenance Dept. -Fred
Walker, William Burdick, also Mr. & Mrs. Walter Priest and two
other ladies.
Town Clerk read minutes of the last meeting and there
were no corrections.
® Town Clerk read a letter from Bill Burdick asking the Town's
permission to ti_e into the water line on the west side of Rt.13
in front of the property, also to tie into sewer at a man hole on
the west side of Rt. 1.3 approximately 173 feet north of the
Carter property.
Motion was made by Mr. Fish, seconded by Mr. Miller_ that
the above letter be received and filed. Motion carried.
,�O Upon motion by Councilman Ray E. Miller, seconded by Justice
Donald Eaton, and unanimously carried:
WHEREAS, The County of Cortland hap. authorized -the purchase
of the Towsley property located in the Town of Solon, Cortland
County, New York, to be used in connection with the County
Landfill Operation: and
WHEREAS, The Board of Supervisors of the County of Cortland
has enacted a ResolL;ti.on approving the Amendment of -the Cortland
County Highway
.lap ��z; the addition. thereto of a. portion of the Town
Road known as the Heath Road i.n the Town of Cortlandvil_le from the
end of the McGraw North Road northerly to the Cortla.ndville Town
Line, being a length of approximately 0.2 miles; be it
RESOLVED, That the Town Board of the Town of Cortlandville
does hereby concur that, upon the approval of the Commissioner of
the New York State Department of Transportation, the aforesaid
portion of -the Heath Road shall become a part of the Cortland
County Road System.
k 44 Motion was made by Justice Fish and seconded by Justice
Eaton that all bills,'as presented by the Town Clerk and
audited by the Town Board, be paid as follows:
General Fund $4,188.01
Highway Fund 2,904.08
Water Dist. 1 890.24
Sewer Dist. 1. 14.81
Water Dist. 3 35.20
Upon motion by Mr. Fish and seconded by Mr. Miller,
the Board meeting was adjourned.
