2nd Regular Meeting
Town Board of Cortlandville
15 Terrace Road
Meeting called to order by Supervisor Frank K. Taylor.
• Members present were Councilman Sherman Griswold, and Justice
Donald Eaton. Ron Fish, J.P. and Ray Miller Councilman were
not present.
Others present were, Town Engineer, Wm. Rowell, Town
Assessor, Robert Wells, Rudy Krauklis, Bkpr. for Supervisor,
Christine Canestaro, Milly Brookins, Dep. Clerk and Skip Chapman
from the Cortland Standard. Also present Were Mrs. Twentyman and Olin
Spencer and Dick Patrick.
Minutes of the prvious meeting were read by the Town Clerk
and there were no corrections.
'p, Resolution, regarding Revenue §baring Monies:
Motion was made by Don Eaton Seconded by Sherm Griswold that
the Revenue Sharing Monies in the amount of $39,437.00, covering
the period from 7/1/1973 to 6/30/1974 be used for General Mun-
icipal Building Fund and that the Supervisor be empowered to
deposit same in such account. This motion was carried, unanimously.
Mr. Patrick from Isabel Dr. was present and asked what
could be done regarding Mr. Homer building in violation of the
Zoning Ordinance. Mr. Brookins has tried to contact Attorney
Ed. Purser several times regarding this matter, Mr. Purser has
been on vacation, as soon as Mr. Brookins can meet with Mr. Purser
he will advise the Town Board what steps must be taken.
Mr. Taylor reported to the Board that he attended the
Regional Planning Meeting in Syracuse 8/15/1973 in the afternoon.
There was much discussion regarding the study for the Route 13
project.

Mr. Rowell , Town Engineer from Stearns & Wheler reported
that the Route 13 project is going to need a great deal more
study and research.
HRving reed a Preliminary Report from Stearns & Wheler on
this project, Motion was made by D. Eaton seconded by S. Griswold
that Stearns and Wheler proceed with an indepth study regarding
• environmental and economic4effects of this route on the Town
of Cortlandville. Motion was passed unanimously.
Mr. Taylor reported to the Board that he had met with
the Mayor of Homer and the Fire Chief regarding proposed for-
mation of a Fire Company in the Town of Cortlandville.
Formal agreements and Contracts will be prepared by the Town
Attorney, for consideration of the Town Board, at a future date.
,5W Mr. Brookins informed the Board that R.D.Summerville
would be available as dog enumerator. Motion was made by
Sherm. Griswold seconded by Don Eaton that R.D.Summerville be
appointed dog enumerator for 1974 dog enumeration. This
motion was passed.
There being no further business at this time, meeting
was adjourned.
