Regular meeting of the Town Board held at the Town
Hall, §upervisor Frank K. Taylor, presiding. Other Board.
members Present were Justices Ron Fish and Don Eaton, Council-
men, sherman Griswold and Ray Miller, also Book-keeper for
Supervisor, Rudy Krauklis, Town Assessor, Robt' Wells, Town
Engineer Wm. Rowell, Town Hgwy Supt. T,ouis Wagner, Deputy Clerk
M. Brookins.
Also present were Mr. R. Hammond of 24 Isabel Dr. Mr. &
Mrs.DAle Moore, Mr. & Mrs. R. Patrick, Mr. & Mrs. Weeks, all

and. Mr. Carryl Bogart of Terrace Road.
Mr. Mire Walsh and Mr. Walter Tennant expect to be present at
this meeting.
Town Clerk read minutes of the previous meeting and there
were no corrections.

forming of Agricultural Districts, one in the South -Cortland -
Virgil area and one in the East Homer®Truxton and Cuyler area.
RESOLUTION: Motion was made by Don Eaton seconded by Ron.
Fish that the application of 30 landowners in the S. Cortland®
Virgil area be accepted and filed at this time, this was unan-
imously carried.
RESOLUTION: Motion was made by R• Miller seconded by D. Eamon
_\ that the application_ of 78 land owners --in the East Homer-
Truxton and Cuyler area be accepted and filed at this time. This
was passed. unanimously.
Mr.. Taylor read a letter from Commissioner Raymond Schuler
Department of Transportation,State Campus, Albany, New York,
regarding the status of the Route 13 improvement between Ithaca
and Cortland. Briefly the letter states, they are not preparing
design plans for the proposed. Improvement. Location ha.s not been
recommended nor will a location be selected until after they

have circulated the draft environmental impact statement
which corers all the alternative location proposals and
reviewed commea s from the public.

RESOLUTION: Motion was made by bon Eaton seconded, by Hon
Fish that this letter be accepted and filed, this motion
was unanimous.
Residents From Isabel Dr. were present to inquire
what could be done to determine exactly where the City and
Town lines were relative to the Clarence Homer property on
Delaware Ave. Mrs. Meeks presented a petition to the Board
with the names of 44 residents of this area objecting to
Mr. Homer remodeling an old barn into an .apartment house.
There was much discussion and on motion of Don Eaton, seconded.
by R. Miller a RESOLUTION was passed authorising the Town
Engineer, Wm .Rowell to have a survey done to determine the
location of the Town Line in order to clarify the jurisdiction
of the Homer property. This was unanimous.
Mike Wa,lsh,Asst. County Supt. of Hgwys# discussed the
water conditions on Starr Road and various proposals were
brought up regarding this problem. The County has Starr Road,
on their agenda to improve this year.
There was much discussion regarding the Bridges needing
replacement or repair in the Village of McGraw. Motion was made
by Ikon Eaton seconded by R. Miller to authorize the Supervisor
• to sign an application under the State Donovan Flan to r.emconstruct
the Center Street Bridge in the Village of McGraw in the Town
of Gortlandvil.le. This motion was carried- (RESOLUTION)
Supervisor Taylor explained to Mr. Bogart proposed plans
Cor establishing a Fire District and building for fire equipment.
RESOLUTION: Motion was made by Mr. Griswold seconded by Mr. Fish
that the Town Board petition the Cortland County Highway Dept®
and. the Department of Transportation of the State of New York
for a reduced speed limit from Route 13 to 'age Green Road®
which is County Road. 122, this motion was carried unanimously.

® Motion was made by R. Miller seconded by D. Eaton that all bills
as presented by the Town Clerk and audited by the Town Board
be paid as follows: General Fund. 22, 914- 73

district within the towns of Cortlandville and Solon.

on a Proposed Agricultural District in the County of Cortland.
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a public hearing will be held before the
Cortland County Board of Supervisors at the Cortlandville Town Hall, 15 Terrace

Road, Cortland, New York at 8:00 o'clock P. M., on said
day upon the matter of a Proposed Agricultural District within the Tou n5 of
Cortlandville, Solon (McGraw area).
A description and map of the ,proposed Agricultural District may be ex-
amined in the Office of the Clerk of the Cortland County Board of Supervisors.
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that at the above mentioned time and place
all interested persons residing within or without the District will be .afforded
an opportunity to be heard.
