Pg. 1 A special meeting of the Town Board was held at the Town Hall, 15 Terrace Rd. with Councilman Sherman Griswold, Deputy Supervisor presiding. Other Board members present were: Donald Eaton, Justice; Ronald Fish, Justice; Ray Miller, Councilman;. Also present were: John Gardner, Town Attorney; Louis Wagner, Highway Superintendent; Christine Canestaro, Town Clerk. All members were duly notified of the meeting by mail on August 9, 1974. The meeting was called for the purpose of accepting the offer of cession of part of Northway Drive, made by Stiles Farms, Inc. Superintendent,of Highways, Louis Wagner stated that he and the Town Engineer, William LaRose had inspected the road and that it was in an acceptable condition. He also stated the base course had been brought to grade and calcium applied. PORTION OF RESOLUITION #92s ACCEPTANCE OF DEDICATION-NORTHWAY DRIVE i�- „Upon motion by Councilman Miller and seconded by Justice of the Peace Fish, the following Resolution was unanimously }},�l adopted: Cb��tlWHEREAS, the Planning Board of the Town has approved a certain Subdivision Plat of Lands of Section 3 of "Hart Estates", subject to the filing of a Performance Bond in the amount of $4500,00 to guarantee the suitable and satisfactory construction and grading of certain portions of proposed streets known as "Gwen Lane" and "Northway Drive" on or before November 1, 1974, in accordance with a certain Profile and Cross-section of said streets and Specifications thereof made by Anthony J. Mally, Construction Engineer, dated August 16, 1973, and in accordance with the Specifications of the Town of Cortlandville for Town Road and Street Construction, dated September 28, 1968; and WHEREAS, Stiles Farm, Inc., the owner and developer of said "Hart Estates" Tract has delivered to the Town Clerk its Performance Bond in the amount of $4500.00 to guarantee the construction and grading of certain portions of Gwen Lane and Northway Drive as shown on said Map of Road Profiles and said Performance Bond has been approved as to form, sufficiency and manner of execution by the Tovm Board at its regular meeting held on October 18, 1973; and WHEREAS, Said Stiles Farm, Inc. has offered to deed a portion of Northway Drive by Offer of Cession dated June 27, 1974, and the construction and grading of said portion of Northway Drive has been approved by both the Town Engineer and the Town Superintendent; and WHEREAS, Said Stiles Farm, Inc. has delivered to the Town a proposed deed dated August 6, 1974, of all of its right, title and interest in and to said portion of Northway Drive as shown on said Subdivision Plat and described in said • Offer of Cession: NOW THEREFORE, Be it RESOLVED, That the aforesaid street or highway known as a portion of Northway Drive described in said Offer of Cession and in said deed be, and it hereby is, formally accepted as a public street in the Town of Cortlandville, Cortland County, New York; and be it further RESOLVED, That and she hereby aforesaid deed There being no further seconded by Coucilman adjourned at 7:30 p.m. the Clerk of the Town of Cortlandville be, is, authorized and directed to record the in Cortland County Clerk's Office. business, upon motion of Justice Eaton, Miller.., all voting aye, the meeting was R"pectfully !��obmitted HRISTINd_rE CANESTARO TOWN CLERK
