A meeting of the Town Board was held to work on the Preliminary
Budget for the Fiscal Year 1992 .
Supervisor Dietrich called the meeting the agenda for the reappointment and requested an addition
Ppointment of Planning Board Members .

REAPPOINTMENT OF PLANNING BOARD - APPROVED

Discussion on pro osed Budget : Carried Unanimously
Councilperson Schwartz said he would like of 9 . 2 % lowered if ke to see the overall
possible .

Mildred Miller said she thinks that when presenting the budget
increases to the public it is best to use dollar amounts .
The 10 %a increase for the new highway barns and with other increases
would result in a $ 60 . 00 for a property assessed at $ 100 , 000 . 00 .
• Selling the old highway barns and building a new salt shed was
considered as a means of reducing budget .
Councilperson Marisa would support the 9 - 10 % increase for the new
h ighway barns . Holding down taxes and cutting out necessary items
at this time is not doing any favors and results in a large
increase later .
B ased on the Supervisor ' s Proposed Budget dated 10 / 9 / 91 a 3 to 4 %
increase is necessary to run the Town .
Councilperson Schwartz said he would like the budget to be cut
further and is not willing to support the possibility of a large
increase next year .
Supervisor Dietrich will look further at the Highway Department
B udget to see if other cuts can be made .
