The meeting was called to order at 4:30 P.M. Supervisor Nadolski presided at the meeting. Those present were Water and Sewer S uperintendant Fred Walker, Sr., Zoning Officer Don Fowler, Highway Superintendant Carl Eaton, Town Justice Donald F. Eaton, Town Clerk Pauline Parker, Town Attorney John Gardner and newsreporter Paul La Dolce. Town Clerk Pauline Parker read the letter of resignation from Town Attorney John Gardner dated January 4, 1979- CALL TO ORDER RESOLUTION # 18 ACCEPTANCE OF ATTORNEY JOHN J. GARDNER'S RESIGNATION ACCEPT J. GARDNER Motion made by Councilman Pierce, seconded by Councilman Thorpe, RES IGNATIO All Votes .... Aye. APPROVED. WHEREAS, on January 4, 1979 Town Clerk Pauline Parker received a letter of resignation from Town Attorney John J. Gardner which -_as effective immediatley. BE IT RESOLVED, that Attorney John J. Gardner's resignation is hereby accepted by the Cortlandville Town Board. RESOLUTION # 19 APPOINTMENT OF JOHN B. FOLMER AS TOWN ATTORNEY FOR THE TOWN OF CORTLANDVILLE FOR 1979 Motion made by Councilman Pierce, seconded by Councilman Thorpe, All Votes Aye... APPROVED. WHEREAS, John Folmer is hereby appointed as Town Attorney for the Town of Cortlandville for 1979; BE IT RESOLVED, that the salary for his position shall be $ 6000.00 for the remainder of the year 1979. RESOLUTION # 20 TO CREATE A NEW POSITION AND APPOINTMENT OF JOHN J. GARDNER AS ASSISTANT TOWN ATTORNEY FOR THE TOWN OF CORTLANDVILLE Motion made by Councilman Pierce, seconded by Councilman Thorpe, All Votes Aye... APPROVED. WHEREAS, John j. Gardner has been appointed as Assistant Town Attorney for the Town of Cortlandville for the period of January 9 to September 1, 1979. BE IT RESOLVED, that the salary for the 8 month period will be $ 2250.00. RESOLUTION # 21 AUTHORIZATION TO ACCEPT SUPERVISOR'S REPORT TO STATE COMPTROLLER 60 DAYS AFTER 9EE CLOSE OF THE FIB CAL YEAR Motion made by Councilman Thorpe, seconded by Councilman Pierce, All Votes Aye. APPROVED, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board will accept the Supervisor's report to the state Pomptroller 60 days after the fiscal year. This will enable the supervisor to submit his report to the Town Clerk 60 days after the fiscal year. There being no further business motion was made to aijourn by Councilman Thorpe, seconded by Councilman Pierce, All Voting Aye the meeting was adjourned at 4 :35.
