Present wene Superv .ison Lee , Councilmen Todd , Gridley , S Ogden , Attorney Amdur and Assessor wells . The Meeting was opened with the Pledge Atleg .ianee to the Flag . Supenv .ison Lee reported that due to the .illness o4 Clerk Lass the minutes had not been sent and there4one would have to wait until the August Meeting , on approval . There wene no citizens ptes ent at this Boand Meeting . COMMITTEE REPORTS San.Ltations - Supenv .isor Lee Head a letter 64om Mr . Collins • asking the Town iA they would Aunn.ish a man week days { nom 9 A . M . - 4 P . M . and Saturdays { nom 9 A . M . - 11 A . M . to show people where they should dump their reAuse . This was ne4erred to Councilman Todd . Building S Gtounds - Councilman Ogden repotted he had spoken with a gentlemen about sealing the crack in the blacktop in bront of the doors at the Town Hatt . He Autthet teported that the Anont doors was lettered and a bracket Aox the filag had been a44 .ixed to the building just outside the doors . Highway - Supetv .ison Lee reported that he had a meeting with Highway Superintendent Case to go oven the budget 4ot 1969 set up for next week . He Aurther t eported that the Town ' s shake o4 the County Tax w ould be $ 50 , 000 and a possible use Aot this w ould be a building and some equipment Aot the Highway Department . Planning - Councilman Ogden reported he had not talked with Planning Boand Chairman Curtiss 40 he had nothing to report at this time . Town Court - Superv .isot Lee reported he had asked both justice Newham and Hoagla nd 4o4 a s .i. x month nepott and had received them . Justice Hoagland submitted a copy o < h .L4 work 4rom January 1 , 1968 - June 30 , 1968 . Justice Newhakt submitted a report Atom March 1 , 1968 when he assumed the duty ob Justice u ntil June 30 , 1968 . ( Both o ,y these reports ate o n file in the Clerks Mice ) Supervisor Lee asked the Town Boand .i , they would like to have the.in August Meeting on August 1st and thereby give everyone some time 404 vacation . RESOLUTION # 84 AUGUST MONTHLY MEETING Councilman Todd o1Aeted the 4ollow.ing resolution and asked its adoption . RESOLVED that the regular monthly meeting Son August be held on the 1st at 7 P . M . in the Town Hall . 2nd Councilman Ogden Cart.ied Councilman Gridley reported that at the neeent Primary Election things . had been rather a mess due to the lack 04 election .inspectors in some 04 the vanes dtstttcts . This brought discussion , tom all Board Members as to what could be done , could they put more pressure on the Town Chairmen so that the lists when they ate izetutned to the Boand ' ot appoint - ment ate tight and everyone on those lists ate aware that they are being apt appointed as Election Inspector Sot the yeah and ate witting to serve . This will be taken , up with the Town Chairmen in hopes o , etim .inat.ing all the problems that exist everyt.ime the polls open . Councilman Ogden reported that the toad numbet changes wene not being made by people and wondered .i4 there was anything that could be done about tit . This was discussed and decided that you could not make people go out and buy new numbers . The problem then was brought d. p as to the Town Map not being completed as yet and that many new toad signs needed to be put on the newly named toads . Att ° nneg Amdun asked the Board .i4 they had accepted the new toad put in at the Bradley Sub - division , Kimberly Dn.ive and also the new road 044 Route 366 , Lyle Road . She was £ nAo /Lmed that the Boakd had accepted Lyle Road at the last Board Meeting but not K.. mbetly Drive . She ,( utthet re - potted that K .i. mbetty Drive had been okayed by Highway Supet.intendent Case and hers el4 . RESOLUTION # 85 KIMBERLY DRIVE • Councilman Ogden ° W./Led the < ollow.Lng nesolut on and asked its adoption . RESOLVED that this Town Board accept Kimberly D4Lve . 2nd Councilman GAidley Cattied Attorney Amdux repotted that she had the release 4ok G .ilmote Road and had Wed it July 3 , 1968 . Attorney Amdut reported she had talked with Judge Johnson tegand.ing the MacArthur Fund and he wants pkoceed .ings . She 6utthen reported that this involved checking the Law , getting petition , then getting a decision d.itecttng us as what to do with the accumlat.i. ve .interest . He stated the reason the price was so high £ oA cutting was due to the fact that once you cut across a toad its very expensive to put the /Load back to nan ►ialcy . Supervisor Lee eunthex reported that the borings 4on Sewer D .i.st 'i -Lct # 2 had been completed and MA . Mine & Lound them £ avonable . Cottenill had tun in the Prima/Ly perhaps the Town would be questioned o n why they had appointed Mt . Benson instead of M/L . Cotte& ill . Clm . Gridley stated at this time that perhaps the reason MA . Benson had not gotten to the Primary £4 due to the ( act that the candidates were not n otified that they needed mote s .ignatunes whereby theycould have picked up a petition and taken it out themselves . Councilman Todd asked that he go on teem /id as his reason bon abstaining was due to the Oct that he did not have mote time to eonside/L a replacement . Supervisor Lee reported that he had a to uest nom Mr . Donald Usk and 4 � n his neighbors on the Yellow Bann Road to establish a Lighting Disttiet . He had gone ahead and contacted Mt . Duane (Uinte/Ls oti the New York State Electric 5 Gas Corp . to give the Board a 4igune go /L the number of tights needed and the expense . Atto & ney Amdur repotted that she had written the letter to Mr . Kapp on Sapsucker Woods Road as requested by the Town Board at the June Meeting . She fiurther 'Leported that Mt . Kapp was still hooked up 4o4 sewerage and can still use it Oar two fiamities and two occupants .
