PUBLIC HEARING
FEDERAL REVENUE SHARING
The Public Hearing was called to order by
Supervisor Nadolski at 7:30 P.M..
In attendance were: Supervisor Nadolski, Council-
men O'Donnell, Manning, Pierce and Thorpe. Also Town
Clerk, Pauline Parker; Attorney, John Folmer and several
town residents.

The Public Hearing was opened by Supervisor
Nadolski.
The Town Clerk read the legal notice as follows:

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
FEDERALREVENUE
SHARING LAW
Please take notice that a public
hearing will be held before the super-
visor of the Town of Cortlandville dur-
ing a special meeting of the Town
Board of the Town of Cortlandville at
the Town Hall, 15 Terrace Road,
Town of. Cortlandville, New York, on
November 6, 1980, at 7:30 o'clock p.m.
to consider the proposed use of
Federal Revenue Sharing Funds to be
received by the Town of Cortlandville
during the next fiscal year commenc-
ing January 1, 1981. The amount of
Federal Revenue Sharing Funds the
Town of Cortlandville anticipates
receiving during said fiscal year is
$43,000.
Residents of the Town of Cort-
landville have the right to present at
said public hearing their written and
oral comments on the proposed use of
Federal Revenue Sharing Funds.
The amount of unobligated entitle- ,
merit funds in the Federal Revenue
Sharing Trust Fund of the Town of
Cortlandville is None.
All parties in interest may attend
and shall have the opportunity to be
heard, at such public hearing
aforesaid.

It was proposed to use the funds for the Highway
Machinery Fund
No comments were heard from those in attendance.
Councilman Manning made a motion to close the
hearing. Councilman Thorpe seconded the motion. All •
voting aye, motion was carried.

PRELIMINARY BUDGET
1981
The Public Hearing was called to order by
Supervisor Nadolski at 7:45 P.M.
In attendance were Supervisor Nadolski, Councilmen
O'Donnell, Manning, Pierce and Thorpe. Also Town Clerk,
Pauline Parker; Attorney, John Folmer and several town
residents.

$ Notice of Public Hearing on
Preliminary budget for year 1981
Notice is hereby given that the
preliminary budgets of the Town of
Cortlandville, Cortland County, New
York, .including use of $43,000 of
Federal Revenue Sharing Funds and
Water District No. 1, Water District
No. 2, Water District No. 3, Water
District No. 4, Water District No. 5,
Sewer District No. 1, and Sewer•
District No. 2 of said Town for the
fiscal year beginning January 1, 1981,
have been completed and filed in the
office of the Town Clerk of the Town
located at 15 Terrace Road in said
Town, where they are available for
inspectionby any interested person
during office hours; and
Notice is hereby glven that the
Town Board of the Town of Cort-
landville will meet and review'said
Preliminary budgets and hold public
hearing thereon at the Town Hall, 15
Terrace Road in the Town of Cort-
landville, New York, on the 6th day of

Supervisor Nadolski stated that salaries of all town
• employees were increased by 7% with an additional 3% to each
department to be distributed among the employees by- the
department head.
Any increase in the budget is due to inflation and
• salary increases. No new programs have been added.
The proposed budget will reflect a tax increase of
.06 ¢ per thousand of assessed valuation..
Many questions were asked by those in attendance. IIany
residents expressed pleasure and commended the Town Board
on the proposed budget for 1981
Councilman Manning made a motion, seconded by Council-
man Thorpe, to close the public hearing. All voting aye,
motion was carried.
The hearing was closed at 8:15 p.m.
