Vaaenschoten, Councilman Also present: Leland Gol'nelius, Rick Neville PL:x.Pose of meeting was to review and Q.1arify highway contract and to go over tentative budget. Rick Neville explained what highway men wanted. They want Five ,year incentive left in for new guys. Je=y and Kenny also want to get the five ,year incentive since they got 10, 1_5 and 20 year incentives last year. Board explained that they' prat Five year incentive in in good faith and it was not intended that everyone would get it. Rick wanted incentive wordage to rema..in the same as it was last year. Board Merlbers decided that they would wait ur�'L'il entire board was present before deciding on agreement. Supervisor Robinson gave ;Board the following proposed tax rates fox 1991. McLean Fire - 1, NcLean Lights - .6 Peru Lights � .82 Total Appropriations - 1,317,680.92+ Less Revenues 246,3+ Less Unexpended Bal, 2 -5,OOO To Raise by Taxes 846, 33Z Appropriations are up 158,344 over 1990 and the amc)unt to bL raised by taxes is up 179,044 over 1990, Supervisor read all appropriations fo 1991 to Board Members. Haynes, Councilman Also present: Leland.Co- rnelius, Rick Neville Meeting was continued from Octoberr 18th meeting with all Board Mernbears px`esent to work out an AgreGrnent with highway employees and to wort€ on budget, Rick Neville represented highway employees, Board has offered to make a ooMpxomise and go back to 130 per hour per` this years incentive and add 150 per hour for five years of service making it retroactive for ,ferry and Denny. Rick will chock with highway employees and let Supervisor Robinson know. r C Supervisor Robinson gave Board Members, Highway Superintendent and Town 0lerk a copy of proposed Town Budget for 1991. Will discuss later. Leland Cornelius would like to swap old garage doors for a wagon to go Under cinder spreaders. Attorney Fitzgerald has no problem with it. Board approved of swap.
