HomeMy WebLinkAbout07-26-1982Monday, July 26, 1982 ) :03 7:30 P.M. 4"-1 1 0 1 SPECIAL MEETING A special meeting of the Cortlandville Town Board was held on July 26, 1982 at the Thw n Hall, 15 Terrace Road, Cortland, NY, with Deputy Supervisor, Melvin Pierce presiding. Board members present were Deputy Sup'v., Melvin Pierce, Councilman Edwin O'Donnell; Councilman Warren Manning; Councilman,Ray Thorpe; Town Clerk, Pauline Parker and Attorney, John Folmer. Others present were Attorney, Russell Ruthig, Benny Gunzenhauser, Joe Compagni, Francis Smith and George Wagner. Deputy Sup'v., Melvin Pierce called the meeting to order. A motion was made by Councilman Manning, seconded by Councilman Thorpe, to recess the regular meeting and convene to an executive session to discuss pending litigation. All voting aye, the motion was carried. A motion was made by Councilman Manning, seconded by Councilman Thorpe to adjourn the executive session and reconvene to the regular meeting. RESOLUTION # 140 APPOINT MEMBERS TO CORTLANDVILLE FIRE COMMISSION Motion by Councilman O'Donnell Seconded by Councilman Manning VOTES: ALL AYE ADOPTED BE IT RESOLVED that the following are hereby appointed to serve as the Cortlandville Fire Commission: Benny Gunzenhauser Joseph Compagni Jr. Francis Smith Jack Harvey Joseph DeMarco George Wagner Fire Commission Committee RESOLUTION # 141 AUTHORIZE S. NADOLSKI AND/OR M. PIERCE TO SIGN CHECKS FOR CORTLANDVILLE FIRE COMMISSION Motion by Councilman Thorpe Seconded by Councilman Manning VOTES: ALL AYE ADOPTED BE IT RESOLVED that Stanley Nadolski, Supervisor and/or Melvin Pierce, Deputy Supervisor, are hereby authorized and directed to sign checks for the Cortlandville Fire Commission, when the monies are released to the Town, to pay those bills submitted to the Fire Protection District, as permitted by law.
