SPECIAL MEETING
A special meeting of the Cortlandville Town Board
was held on June 28, 1982 at the Town Hall, 15 Terrace
Road, Cortland, New York with Supervisor Nadolski pres-
iding.
Board members present were Supervisor Nadolski; •
Councilman Pierce; Councilman Thorpe; Councilman O'Donnell;
Attorney John Folmer and Deputy Town Clerk June Brad-
shaw.
Others present were Engineer, Peter Novelli,
Warren Barth, Edward Sloan and newsreporter -Dick Camerano.
RESOLUTION # 121 AWARDING OF BIDS FOR INSURANCE FOR
ONE YEAR
Motion by Councilman Pierce
Seconded by Councilman Thorpe
VOTES: ALL AYE ADOPTED
WHEREAS pursuant to Resolution # 101 for the year 1982,
sealed bids were publicly solicited for the SMP policy,
fleet policy, bond policy and public officials legal
liability, in accordance with the specifications and
terms set forth in the information to bidders, and
WHEREAS six sealed bids were received and opened and read
aloud by the Clerk from Place Agency, Tucci Insurance
Company, Owen Agency Inc., James A. Wood Inc., Denniston
Agency Inc. and Vosburgh Bros. Agency, and
WHEREAS all bids submitted were in proper form except
the Tucci :Insurance Agency which did not submit a bid for
public officials legal liability policy, and
WHEREAS the Denniston Agency Inc. also submitted a special
hauling and work permit required by the state, for an
additional fee, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Cortland-
ville does hereby award the bid to lowest bidder, The
Denniston Agency in the amount of $ 15,445.00.
Councilman Pierce made a motion, seconded by Council-
man Thorpe, to adjourn the meeting. All voting aye, the
motion was carried. 0
