The bid bond and non -collusion certificate were
attached with each bid submitted.
The bids submitted for the bridge were reviewed by
Engineer, Peter Novelli.
Engineer.Novelli advised the Town Board to accept
the low bid of $ 9,770.00 from Eco Bridge Inc. on a glue
laminated timber bridge deck. He stated. that the bid
options on the bridge substructure were too high and it
would be more economical for the Highway Department to
erect concrete abutments. The estimated total project
cost is $ 37,500.00, of which 75% will be paid for by
Highway Bond Act funds. The Town's share of 25% will
be provided by in -kind services of equipment and labor.
