PUBLIC HEARING
FEDERAL REVENUE SHARING
A Public Hearing was held at the Town of Cortland-
ville Town Hall at 7:30 P.M..
In attendance were Supervisor Nadolski; Councilman
Edwin O'Donnell; Councilman Warren Manning, Councilman
Melvin Pierce and Councilman Raymond Thorpe. Also Justice
Donald Eaton, and town residents James McNamara, Ken
Andrews and Richard Tupper. •
The Public Hearing was opened by Supervisor Nadolski.
The Supervisor read the legal notice as follows:
LEGAL NOTICE
TOWN OF CORTLANDVILLE
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
FEDERAL REVENUE SHARING LAW
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that a public hearing will be
held before the Supervisor of the Town of Cortlandville
during a special meeting of the Town Board of the Town
of Cortlandville at the Town Hall, 15 Terrace Road, Town
of Cortlandville, New York, on September 24, 1981, at
7:30 o'clock p.m. to consider the proposed use of Federal
Revenue Sharing funds to be received by the Town of
Cortlandville during the next fiscal year commencing
January 1, 1982. The amount of Federal Revenue sharing
funds the Town of Cortlandville anticipates receiving
during said fiscal year is approximately $ 45,000.00.
Residents of the Town of Cortlandville have the right
to present at said public hearing their written and
oral comments on the proposed use of Federal Revenue
Sharing funds.
The amount of unobligated entitlement funds in the
Federal Revenue Sharing Trust Fund of the Town of Cortland-
ville is $ none.
All parties in interest may attend and shall have the
opportunity to be heard at such public hearing aforesaid.

The Supervisor advised that the Federal Revenue
Sharing funds received this year were put in a reserve
fund to purchase highway equipment. The same procedure
is being considered for next year.
Suggestions made from those in attendance were to
apply the fund to the budgets of the fire department,

recreation and road maintenance.
Another hearing will be held.
Supervisor Nadolski closed the public hearing.
