March 3 , 1959 .
The regular monthly meeting of the Dryden . Town Board was
held March 3 , 1959 at 1 : 30 P . M . at the Town Office .
Present were Supervisor Gridley , Justices Spaulding and
Hoagland ; and Councilmen Baker and Saltonstall .
The minutes of the February meeting were read for information .
Mrs . Parker and Mrs . Keane from the Baker Hill section were
present and interested in hearing the report of the committee on the
Baker Hill project . Justice Hoagland reported that the committee had
contacted County Highway Superintendent Miller , and that he was . ; . .
investigating the road in question . The ladies stated that if the
road might be constructed according to the Erwin Plan , they would be
willing to wait and have a good job done .
Moved by Justice Spaulding , seconded by Clm . Saltonstall , that the
General bills totaling $ 3690 . 92 be paid as audited . Roll call vote , all .
voting YES .
Moved by Clm . Saltonstall , seconded by Justice Hoagland , that the
- Highway bills totaling $ 1729 . 56 be paid as audited . Roll call vote ,
All voting YES .
Communications were read from the following people , who were
in favor of the Town Zoning Ordinance : Robert e . Habet , Mr . and Mrs .
Y
Rickard , Mr . and Mrs . Karl Fernow , JohrSeeley , Mr . and firs . J . E . Dewey ,
Philip Shew and Wanda Muller ; also from C . E . Lamb and Raymond McLallen
who were against zoning . .
The date of March 12th at 8 : 00 P . M . was set for the Town Board
to meet with the Planning Board at the Town Office .
A representiveof the State Building Code will meet with the
Town Board on March 30th at 8 : 00 P . M . at the Office Building .
The next regular meeting of the Town Board will be held April
6 , 1959 at 8 : 00 P . M .
A tentative date of April llth was set for the Spring road tour .
A petition previously presented to the Town Board , asking for
improvement of the west end of the Bone Blain road , was referred
to the Highwayu.per ;ptende;n.t .
Councilman Saltonstall reported that the committee was working
on theproject of dividing Election District No . 1 .
The minutes of this meeting were fead • and approved .

Special Meeting -March 24 , 1959 .
A special meeting of the Town Board was held at the Office
Building on March 24 , 1959 at 8 : 00 P . M .
Present were Supervisor Gridley , Justice Hoagland and Councilmen
Baker and Saltonstall .
Moved by Clm . Saltonstall , seconded by Justice Hoagland , that
the Town advertise for sealed bids for a used single axle Trailer ,
specifications to be obtained at the Town Clerk ' s Office , bids to
be opened April 6 , 1959 at 8 : 30 P . M . The Town Board reserves the
right to accept or reject any or all bids . Roll call vote , all
voted YES .
No further business , meeting adjourned .
