A Special Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Cortlandville, was held at the Town Hall, 15 Terrace Road, Cortland, New York, with Supervisor Pierce presiding. Members present: Supervisor Melvin Pierce Councilman Raymond Thorpe Councilman Edwin O'Donnell Councilman Theodore Testa absent: Councilman Ronal Rocco The following information was received from the Supervisor's office: Supervisor Pierce called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. A motion was made by Councilman Thorpe, seconded by Councilman Testa, to recess, the meeting and convene to an Executive Session in the matter of a personnel problem. All voting aye, the motion was carried. A motion was made by Councilman Thorpe, seconded by Councilman O'Donnell, to adjourn the Executive Session and reconvene the Regular Meeting. All voting aye, the motion was carried. No action was taken. A motion was made by Councilman Testa, seconded by Councilman Thorpe, to adjourn the Regular Meeting. SPECIAL MEETING A Special Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Cortlandville, was held at the Town Hall, 15 Terrace Road, Cortland, New York, with Supervisor Pierce presiding. Members present: Supervisor Melvin Pierce Councilman Raymond Thorpe Councilman Edwin O'Donnell Councilman Ronal Rocco Councilman Theodore Testa Others present were newsreporter, Barbara Woods; Town Engineer, Hayne Smith; and Town residents, William McDermott and Tim Buhl, Engineer. The following information was received from the Supervisor's office: Supervisor Pierce called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss William McDermott's proposed development of Highland Heights, west of Highland Road in the Town of Cortlandville. Fhere was a lengthy discussion reqardinq water supply for the property belonging to Mr. McDermott. The major concern is whose responsibility it is to supply said lands of Mr. McDermott's with water. It was the consensus of the Board members that all information regarding this matter should be forwarded to the Town Attorney, Phillip Rumsey for his review and determination. No action was taken. A motion was made by Councilman Testa, seconded by Councilman Thorpe, to adjourn the meeting. All voting aye, the motion was carried.
