Gridley , Justices , Spaulding , and Whitford , Clm . Baker , Supt . , of Hwys . Beach and Assessor Abrams . The minutes of the July Meeting were read for information . Moved by J . Whitford , seconded by Clm . Baker , that the Hwy . bills totaling $4, 924 . 24 be paid as audited . Roll call vote , all voting yes . Moved by J . Spaulding , seconded by J . Whitford , that theGeneral bills totaling $ 172 . 93 , and the Youth Comm . bills of $ 94 . 10 , be paid as audited . Roll call vote , all voting yes . . I/ ' A card of thanks was read from the Whitford family . Moved by J . Spaulding , secondeddby Clm . Baker , that 'the services of the Town Attorney be made available to the Planning Board . Carried . The attached Resolution was presented and moved by Clm . Baker and seconded by Justice Whitford . Roll call vote taken , all voting yes . The attached Resolution No . 2 , wqs presented and mffethbeily Clm . Baker who moved its adoption , seconded by J . Spaulding . Roll call vote , all voting yes . Moved by J . Spaulding , seconded by Clm . Baker that the same polling places be designated as in the previous year . Carried . ' - 212 SAY.IN,GS=BANK BLDG• ` -. i . - - i .. _ - - . _ ` ` At a regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Dryden, Tompkins County, New York, held at the Town Hall in said town on the 4th day of August , 1958 , at cLUI. o ' clock P .M . , Eastern Daylight Time ® The meeting was called to order by Supervisor Gridley, and upon roil being called, there were II/ PRESENT REGENT Supervisor Gridley Clm , Saltonstall Justice Spaulding Justice Whitford Clme Baker The following resolution was offered by Clm ® Baker 9 who moved its adoption, seconded .• by Justice Spaulding , to wit : BOND RESOLUTION DATED AUGUST 4 , 1958 , A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF MACHINERY FOR REMOVAL OF SEW AT AN AGGREGATE MAXIMUM ESTIMATED COST OF $ 34 , 600 AND AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF $32 , 800 SERIAL BONDS OF THE TOWN OF DRYDEN TO PAY THE COST THEREOF . EE IT RESOLVED , by the Town Board of the Town of Dryden, Tompkins County, New York, as follows : Section 1 . The purchase of machinery for removal of snow at a maximum estimated cost of $34 , 600 having been approved by the voters at a special election duly called and held for the purpose on the 14th day of April , 1958 , is hereby authorized . Section 2 . The plan for the financing of the total cost of such specific object or ,� purpose in the amount of $34 , 600 is by the issuance of $32 , 800 serial bonds of said town hereby authorized to be issued pursuant to the Local Finance Law and by down payment in the amount of $1800, which is hereby appropriated from current funds for the purpose ® Section ,3t , It is hereby determined pursuant to Sdbdivis £ on 28 of paragraph ( a ) of Section 11 . 00 of the Local Finance Law that the period of probable usefulness of such specific object or purpose is five years and that the proposed maturity of the bonds herein authorized. will not be in excess of five years . Y. , Section Lao The faith and credit of the Town of Dryden, Tompkins County, Brew York, are hereby irrevocably pledged to the payment of the principal of and interest on such obligations as the sane respectively become due and payable © An annual appropriation shall be made in each year sufficient to pay the principal of and interest on such obligations becoming due and payable in such year . Section 5 . Subject to the provisions of the Local Finance Law, the power to authorize the issuance of and to sell bond anticipation notes in anticipation of the issuance and sale of the serial bonds herein authorized , including renewals of such notes , is hereby delegated to the Supervisor , the chief fiscal officer of said town . Such notes shall be of such terms , form and contents and shall be sold in such manner as maybe prescribed by said supervisor , consistent with the provisions of the Local Finance Law . Section 6 , The validity of such bonds may contested only ifs 1 . Such bonds are authorized for an object or purpose for which the Town of Dryden is not authorized to spend money, or 2 .
