July 3 , 1958
The regular monthly meeting of the Dryden Town Board was held
at the Town Office , July 3 , 1958 , at 7 : 30 P . M .
Present were : Sup . Gridley , Jstices Spaulding , Whitford , Clm .
Baker and Hwy . Spt . Beach .
The minutes of the June meeting were read for information .
Moved by Justice Spaulding , seconded by Clm . Baker that the
Hwy . bills totaling $ 6 , 759 . 31 , be paid as audited . 'Roll call vote ,
all voting YES .
Moved by Justice Spaulding , seconded by Clm . Baker that the
general bills totaling $ 884 . 46 , and the Youth Commission -bill of
$ 15 . 00' be
paid as audited . Roll call vote , all voting yes .
Mrs . Katharine Payne had submitted a copy of the minutes of the
June 4th planning board meeting , which were read at this time .
Moved by Clm . Baker , seconded by Justice Whitford , that John
Patterson be appointed to the Planning Board . Carried .
A zoning map as discussed and it was decided to have the
an enlarged
Assessor make a „ map for tax and zoning purposes .
A communication was read from the Automatic ° Voting Machine
Corp . of Jamestown .
Moved by Justice Whitford , seconded by Justice Spaulding , that
Automat ice
we order twoavo i.ng machines of the 9 party row , 30 office column
size , New York State type , at the price of $ 1461 . 00 each , F . O . B .
Jamestown , N . Y . , to be paid for March 1 , 1959 , with no interest charged .
Roll call vote taken , all voting yes .
A Resolution was read from the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors
asking for the abandonment of a portion of Town-Line Road . This matter
was tabled for further questioning . .
Moved by Justice Spaulding , seconded by Clm . Baker that we order
a Constable Guide for August Theide . Carried .
These minutes were read and approved .
The next meeting will be held Monday , August 4 , at 7 : 30 P . M .
Moved by Justice Whitford , seconded by Justice Spaulding , that
this meeting adjourn . Carried .

Present were : Sup . Gridley , Justices , Spaulding , and Whitford ,
Clm . Baker , Supt . of Hwys . Beach and Assessor Abrams .
The minutes of the July Meeting were read for information . •
Moved by J . Whitford , seconded by Clm . Baker , that the Hwy .
bills totaling4 , 924 . 24 be paid as audited . Roll call vote , all
voting yes .
Moved by J . Spaulding , seconded by J . Whitford , that theGeneral
bills totaling $ 172 . 93 , and the Youth Comm . bills of $ 94 . 10 , be paid
as audited . Roll call vote , all voting yes .
A card of thanks was read from the Whitford family .
Moved by J . Spaulding , secondeddby Clm . Baker , that the services I/
of the Town Attorney be made available to the Planning Board . Carried .
The attached Resolution was presented and moved by Clm . Baker
and seconded by Justice Whitford . Roll call vote taken , all voting yes .
The attached Resolution No . 2 , wqs presented and niBfedefiy Clm . ,
Baker who moved its adoption , seconded by J . Spaulding . Roll call vote ,
all voting yes .
Moved by J . Spaulding , seconded by Clm . Baker that the same polling
places be designated as in the previous year . Carried .
A communication was read from the Dept . pf Agriculture & Mkts .
regarding unlicensed pups .

The Planning Board wish the Town Board to attend 'a meeting „ in
the near future . .
These minutes were read and approved . The next - meeting will be
held Sept. 3 , 1958 at 7 : 30 P . M .
