Mr. Larsen questioned the increase in insurance,
and Supervisor Pierce and Town Attorney, Phillip Rumsey
explained that we need to create an insurance reserve to
handle situations which are not covered by our existing
liability insurance so that we will be prepared for
unforeseen problems which may arise in the future.
The question arose regarding how much State Aid we
receive, and Supervisor Pierce stated that he could give
that information more accurately within a few days,
after looking at Town records, and invited them to stop
in his office where he would provide the answer.
There being no further discussion, a motion was
made by Councilman Manning, seconded by Councilman
Rocco, to adjourn the Public Hearing and convene to the
Regular Meeting. All voting aye, the motion was carried.
