The regular meeting Of the Town Board of Dryden was held
on Monday , July 7 , 1952 at 7 : 30 P . M . in the Town Clerk ' s Office .
Present were Supervisor Downey , Highway Supt . Stacy Beach
and Justices Whitford , Spaulding ,: Baker and Shaw . Supervisor
Downey presided .
• . Minutes of the previous meeting were read for information .
Moved by Justice Spaulding and seconded by Justice Shaw
that all the general bills amounting to $ 258 . 51 plus the Youth
• Project bills of # 57 .. 92 totalling $ 316 . 43 . be paid as audited .
Carried by a roll call vote With' all Justices voting Yes .
Moved by Justice Whitford and seconded by Justice Shaw that
• all Highway bills amounting to $ 1082 . 83 be paid as audited .
Carried by a roll call vote with all Justices voting Yes .
Mr . Downey reported on , the Welfare School .
•
A communication came from the Gas and . Elec . Corporation for
extending the gas mains into Dryden Village .
Mr . Downey reported on the McArthur Fund which is ready for
. distribution .
Motion made by Justice Spaulding and seconded by Justice.
Whitford that Betsy Clark be appointed to fill the position as
Town Historian for the remainder of the year . Motion was carried .
The minutes of this meeting were read and approved .
On motion the meeting. was adjourned .
