Present were Supervisor Charles G . Downey , Hwy . Supt . . Stacy Beach and Justices Harry Spaulding , Alvord Baker , Dewey Whitford and Francis Shaw . Supervisor Downey presiding : The minutes of . the January 3rd . , meeting werer; read for information . - Mbved by Justice Spaulding and seconded by Justice Shaw that the General bills totaling 4 1 , 956 . 36 plus the Youth project bills totaling * 87 . 58 be paid as audited . Carried by a roll call vote . All Justices voting Yes . Moved by Justice Whitford and seconded by- Justice Baker that the Highway bills .totaling # 1 , 420 . 23 be paid as audited . Carried by a roll call vote . All Justices voting Yes . Communications were read from the State Department of Civil Service , Albany , N . Y . ; the State Building Code Commission , New York City and Edward Short , Director of Neptune Hose Co . No . l . Supervisor Downey reported that Dr . R . A . McKinney , Dryden N . Y . was appointed Chief Warden. for the Town of Dryden , Harland Moore , Freeville , N . Y . , Assisjtant Warden; and Robert Baker , Dryden , N . Y . as alternate . Dr . R . A . McKinney and his appointed Assistants to have — full charge of the Civilian protection program and to co- ordinate all ptotection^actitities in the Town of Dryden . Moved by Justice Shaw and seconded by Justice Baker that a new Smith- Corna portable typewriter be purchased for the Office building ; the old portable now in use to be traded in toward the purchase price of the new machine . Carried ' by a roll ball vote . All Justices voting Yes . Moved by Justice Shaw and seconded by Justice Whitford that , 50 . be transferred from the Contingent Fund to the Compensation of Employees in the Clerks office . ' Carried unanimously. Moved by Justice Baker and seconded by Justice Spaulding that # 7 , 800 . , to pay for One Brockway truck , be transferred from General Fund to Highway Item 111 as soon as money is available . Carried and so ordered . The next regular monthly meeting to be held on March 5th . at 7 : 30 P . M . . The minutes of this meeting were read and approved . On motion the meeting was adjourned . Y. , Satur days at my home in Freeville N. Y., after February 1st ; 9 : 30 a.m. to 3 : 30 Q.m. at Dryden office. If prop- erty has been sold, please for- wa'd tax card to present owner.
