SPECIAL MEETING
A Special Meeting of the Town Board of the Town
of Cortlandville was held at the Town Hall, 15 Terrace
Road, Cortland, New York with Supervisor Stanley Nadolski
presiding.
Members present:, Supervisor Stanley Nadolski
Councilman Melvin,Pierce
Councilman Edwin O'Donnell
Town Clerk Pauline Parker
Absent:
Councilman Ray Thorpe
Councilman Warren Manning
Others present were Deputy Town Clerk, Barbara
Falso; Zoning Officer, Max Sammons; and Newsreporter,
Lisa Arnold.
The meeting was called to order by Supervisor
Nadolski at 4:30 p.m.
RESOLUTION # 164 AUTHORIZE HIRING CRYSTAL O'DONNELL
JUSTICE COURT CLERK
Motion by Councilman Pierce
Seconded by Councilman O'Donnell
VOTES: ALL AYE ADOPTED
Justice BE IT RESOLVED that Justice Fowler is hereby authorized
Clerk- to hire Crystal O'Donnell as a full-time Court Clerk,
Crystal effective October 1, 1985, at a weekly salary of $148.75•

RESOLUTION # 165 AUTHORIZE PAYMENT OF VOUCHERS
Motion by Councilman Pierce
Seconded by Councilman,O'Donnell
VOTES: ALL AYE ADOPTED

RESOLUTION # 166 FORGIVE PENALTY DUE ON FINAL WATER
BILL - ACCOUNT W3560
Motion by Councilman O'Donnell.
Seconded by Councilman Pierce
VOTES: ALL AYE ADOPTED

water BE IT RESOLVED that a penalty a $2.52 due on the account
penalty of W3560 is hereby forgiven as such bill was a final
water bill and should not be charged to the new owners.

RESOLUTION # 167 ADOPT FEDERAL REVENUE SHARING
HANDICAPPED REGULATIONS -
SECTION 504 GRIEVANCE PROCEDURE
Motion by Councilman Pierce
Seconded by Councilman O'Donnell
VOTES: ALL AYE ADOPTED
BE IT RESOLVED that the Town Board does hereby adopt the
Federal Revenue Sharing Handicapped Regulations - Section
504 - Grievance Procedure, and
RESOLVED that such complaints shall be directed to the
Town Supervisor.
RESOLUTION # 168 SET DATE FOR PUBLIC HEARING TO RENEW
FRANCHISE - SAMMONS COMMUNICATIONS INC.
Motion by Councilman O'Donnell
Seconded by Councilman Pierce
VOTES: ALL AYE ADOPTED

BE IT RESOLVED that a Public Hearing shall be held at the Public
Town Hall on October 2, 1985 at 7:30 p.m. regarding the Hearing
renewal of the franchise of Sammons,.Communications Inc. renew franchie
for Cable TV in the Town. Sammons

Councilman Pierce made a motion, seconded by
Councilman O'Donnell, to adjourn the meeting. All voting
aye, the motion was carried.
The meeting was adjourned at 4:45 p.m.
