SPECIAL MEETING
A special meeting of the Town Board of the Town of
Cortlandville was held at the Town Hall, 15 Terrace Road,
Cortland, New York with Supervisor Stanley Nadolski presid-
ing.
Members presents Supervisor Stanley Nadolski
Councilman Edwin O'Donnell
Councilman Warren Manning
Deputy Town Clerk June Bradshaw
Absent: Councilman Melvin Pierce
Councilman Ray Thorpe
Town Clerk Pauline Parker
Others present were Engineer, Hayne Smith; Code
Enforcement Officer, Max Sammons.and Newsreporter Mike
Mittelstadt.
The meeting was called to order by Supervisor Stanley
Nadolski at 4:00 P.M..
RESOLUTION # 127 AUTHORIZE PAYMENT OF VOUCHERS
Motion by Councilman O'Donnell
Seconded by Councilman Manning
VOTES: ALL AYE ADOPTED

RESOLUTION # 128 APPOINT DAVID PLEW AS CHAIRMAN OF
ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS
Motion by Councilman O'Donnell •
Seconded by Councilman Manning
VOTES: ALL AYE ADOPTED
BE IT RESOLVED that David Plew be, and he hereby is,
appointed chairman of the Zoning Board of Appeals, due the
resignation of Ronald Gauthier.

RESOLUTION # 129 APPOINT CHERI HUBBARD AS COURT CLERK
JUSTICE DEPARTMENT
Motion by Councilman O'Donnell
Seconded by Councilman Manning
VOTES: ALL AYE ADOPTED
BE IT RESOLVED that the Town Board does hereby authorize
the hiring of Cheri Hubbard, as a court clerk in the
Justice Department, at a salary of $ 10,102.30.

EATON -- JUSTICE DEPARTMENT by voucher
Motion by Councilman Manning
Seconded by Councilman O'Donnell
VOTES: ALL AYE ADOPTED
BE IT RESOLVED that Donald Eaton be paid by voucher for
1 or 2 weeks to assist in catching up on back paper work
in the justice department.
Max Sammons, Code Enforcement Officer, apprised the Code Enfor
Town Board of some problems.
He stated that Stupke's Towing is in violation and report
has been for around 11 years. Councilman Manning stated
that Max is to tell him that he is only doing his job and
Mr. Stupke must apply.
He also stated that Richard Osborne is parking his
work vehicles at his house on West Road. Councilman Manning
stated Mr. Osborne should be parking his vehicles at his
place of business instead. Councilman Manning also stated he
should not -be operating his business out of his home.
Max talked to Russell Knecht who owns the service
station on Rte. # 13. He has removed some vehicles and
advised Max, that he will be removing more.
The Wood's resident on Gracie Road has snowmobiles and
etc. and he has not been able to contact him, but will
keep trying.
The sign for Willow Brook Golf Course has been changed
to a new location.
Max said he has not been able to get in touch with
Edward Phalen, who has the fallen down barn on West Road.
Max asked the Town Board if he could switch his
hours around and work longer in the summer and shorter in
the winter.

BE IT RESOLVED that Max Sammons be, and he hereby is
authorized to arrange his hours to best accommodate his
duties that he has to perform.

report from Engineer Hayne Smith submitted to the Town Board an
Water Improve. application and certificate for payment from Bat Con, Inc.
system who was contractor for the Water System -Improvement Project,
in the amount of $ 135,214.03.
Hayne also stated that the work is finished and Bat
Con did a fine job. The appli.cat n will be submitted to
the goverment and in 2 weeks their portion will be
received and the Town Board passed a resolution for
bonds for the Town's share.
announce Supervisor Nadolski announced that he is now acting
acting as chairman of the Planning Commission as the chairman
is ill.

June 25, 1985 7:00 P.M. Cortlandville Town Hall
July 9, 1985 7:00 P.M. McGraw Village Hall
Councilman O'Donnell made a motion, seconded by
adjourn Councilman Manning to adjourn the special meeting. All
voting aye, the motion was carried.
The meeting was adjourned at 4:20 P.M..
