Messrs . Thos . Keane , Arthur Lane , Verne KcKinney and
Steve Stelick , Jr . , Freeville , R . D # 2 , Paantation Inn Hi11.-. Road were:
present to discuss conditions on this . road and the road from the top
of the Hill . west to CruttsrObrners .. DUring : the - discussion Verne McKt � uey'
offered ac. pile of stone to be _ used on this road . It :was . decided to keep
the road passable , during the winter months and plan to improve the road

It ' was moved by Justice Whitford and seconded by
Justice Spaulding that the town highway department pay, the bills . totaling
$ 90 922for the pipe and tile-: useda at the fire pond on: : the Howard Muns:ey .
property on ' Turkey Hill road and that Howard Munaey be billed for thee
same ; Carried by a . roll call?. vote ; All justices voting Yes .

that the TompkinsrCounty Rural News ' be designated as the official news
paper . . for the Town of Dryden . Carried and so ordered .
Justice Baker offered the following resolution and
asked ita adthption , whereas.,
Southworth Library Association , . Dryden , N . Y . agrees =
to to maintain a free public library for use ; by therresidents
of 'the Town of Dryden ; . Therefore :, the Town of Dryden agrees
to pay to the Bouthworth Library Association annually the
sum of $400 , 00 for such service .

that the Highway Superintendent`. salary be settatt 3 , 000 ; Baker - Yes ,

Whitford that the salary for the Town officers , with the exception of
the Highway Superintendent be set as accepted in the budget . Carried
by a roll call vote . All justices voting Yes :
The erection of a Town office Building was
discussed and a study to be made of plans , _

Supervisor , Town Clerk and JusticesSpaulding and Whitfordc thecfirst

first on the first of April . The Assessors first payment on the 1st
of the sixth month and the . last of-: the 1st of thertenth month .
