The regular monthly meeting of the Town Board of the Tom
of Drydeni.was held on June 2nd; , 1949 at the Town Clerks office at
8 : 00 P . M .
Present were Supervisor Charles Downey , and Justices Harry
Spaulding , Orrie Cornelius , Alvord Baker , Ara Johnson - and Dewey
Whitford; Supervisor Downey presiding`;
The mtbinutes of the May 2nd ; meeting were read for information
Moved by Justice Spaulding and seconded by Justice Cornelius
that the General_ bills totaling 811; 90 be paid as audited;
Carried by a roll call vote . All Justices voting Yes;
Moved by Justice Whitford and seconded by Justice Johndon
that the Highway bills totaling $ 713`: 02 be paid as audited and One
other bill/ when verified;
Carried by a roll call vote , All Justice voting Yes`,
Communications were read from Mrs Leah English , Sec ; • of the
Snyder Hill Cemetery Ass ' n , the Lee Whitford Family and Robert _
Welsh of the Fyr-Fyter Company of _ Dayton , Ohio :
Moved by Justice Baker and seconded by Justice Spaulding
that the Town of Dryden purchase Four ( 4 ) Fire extinguishers for
the West Dryden Church and One ( 1 ) for . Varna Town Hall".
Carried and so ordered;
Moved by Justice Spaulding and seconded by Justice Whitford
that the following list of Election Inspectors for the Town of Dryden .
which wasduly filed by the respective Chairmen of the County Comm . ' 4
be appointed for the period of One ( 1 ) year . Carried and so ordered;

RESOLVED , that the Town Board of the Town of Dryden does
hereby sponser a youth project as requested by the West
Dryden -,Community C.) 51\1441 Seconded by JusticeCornelius .
Carried by a roll call vote . All Justices voting Yes ;
The minutes of this meeting were read and approved .
The next monthly meeting of the Town Board will be held
on July 2 , 1949 at a ; 00 P . M .
